Hello my Trendy Twiners!

Cake Time with Trendy Twine

Hey there, it's Margaret from AuntMargaretDesigns.
It's my DT turn to share my cute little layout with you using the fabulous Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine.
I made a super cute paper bag album for a friend to display her awesome cakes in.
Here are a couple of pages out of the bag that I used Chocolate Sprinkles on:
My favorite way to use my twine is with buttons, just makes the buttons pop and look so pretty.
Make sure you pop on over and check out the Challenge that is going on this month.
Don't forget about the sale on the Chocolate Sprinkles, who doesn't love a good sale, especially on such yummilicious twine!
Stop by my blog and see some closeups and leave me some love.
Have a great day Trendy Twiners!!

Rocking Horse Gift Bag

It's Becki here from the Happy Card Encouragement Factory once again!  I can come up with some catchy titles, eh?  LOL  It gets hard thinking of clever names for your blog posts after about a year of blogging, so I say go with what you know.  :P And I know rocking horses.  Especially ones for little boys.  You know the ones I am talking about too.  They are pretty much destroyed by the time the first boy gets done with it that you have to buy another one for the second child.  Thank goodness no little boy will get a hold of this one.  I'm pretty sure his mommy will keep it from him.

See how I used the spotlight twine - Chocolate Sprinkles?  I just love how the tail and mane turned out.  I am soooo not going to tell you that was the longest part of this project.  Ooops....guess I just did.  If you would like the rest of the supply list or another close-up picture, check out my blog.

Don't forget you still have a few days to enter the challenge and win 50 yards of this yummy color!  If you don't have time and just want to purchase it, you can find it at the store.  Grab it while it's on sale.  Have a great day and happy crafting!

Baby Boy Card

I just love knitting tiny things with twine! My card is a 4x4" square, so it's a perfect card to go with a baby shower gift. For details on my card please visit me at my blog HERE.

You can get Chocolate Sprinkles on sale right now by going HERE.

Take Note!

Hello my crafty friends! Yvonne here with another Trendy Twine - Chocolate Sprinkles twine project for you. I absolutely love this color combo. The blue is so soft and the chocolate brown, Yummy!

My project starts with a notebook from the Dollar Tree. (Seriously one of my favorite stores for crafty goodness) I then added some designer paper to the cover, edged the top and bottom with scraps of paper and used an edge punch to add some detail.  Tied it up with a bow and then added my scalloped twine NOTES label.

Doesn't that twine look just amazing.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my project and that maybe it inspired you enough to join us for the September Challenge. If you need some of this fantastic twine you still have time to get it on sale here!

Have a great day!

A few simple cuts from the Cricut, some patterned paper, ribbon, buttons, and of course the twine make this cute little card. You can find the details on how to put it all together on my website http://www.crafttimeandcupcakes.com/. I hope you'll hop by for a visit.

Go To Your Happy Place

This month, we have been featuring the delicious Chocolate Sprinkles twine here at Trendy Twine!  When I look at this pretty combination of brown and light blue, I definitely think of little boys and baby projects, so I thougth I would challenge myself to take it in a bit of a different direction:

For this layout, I decided to use the twine in a few different ways.  The first was to outline the matting of the title for the page to add a bit of dimension.  The second was to use the twine to create some stripes on top of some patterened paper.  And the final way was to add a stitching element around a couple of the flowers.  I love the dimension, and I think the twine really pops off of the page, despite the more muted colours in this combination.

If you haven't had a chance to pick up this great colour combination yet, make sure you head over to the store!!  And don't forget about the fun challenge going on this month

For more details on this layout, come on over to Scrappy Canuck Studios

Have a great week everyone!  Karen :)

MTE and TT Spook-tacular Blog Hop!

So did you hear the exciting news? Trendy Twine teamed up with My Thoughts Exactly for a fun and spook-tacular blog hop!  And these two awesome companies are offering a sweet little package deal just in time for Halloween!  Oh yes, there is an exclusive stamp set and twine color.  WOOO WHOOO!  How fun!

Isn't this the cutest Halloween bundle ever?
What is included?
Well, I'm so glad you asked.
This sweet little set includes:
EXCLUSIVE MTE "Build-a-Jack" 4in x 2in stamp set
EXCLUSIVE 10 yd mini of Grape Limeade Trendy Twine
10 yd mini of Grape Licorice Trendy Twine
10 yd mini of Lime Licorice Trendy Twine.
Just an FYI, this set is VERY limited,
so I wouldn't wait too long to make your purchase.
Both the stamps and the Grape Limeade twine
are available in this set only.
Here is a close up of the twine :)
I decided at the last minute to make a small
& VERY simple project.
My peeps know that I do not have any crafty talent.
Then, I wasn't sure if I should post it,
but then Candi told me that
I should because we need all levels of creativity.
Ummm, not sure what that meant, but ok.

It is a very simple and quick treat bag.
I used the tiny kraft bags from the store
and cardstock  from my stash.
For my adhesive, I used Crafter's Companion
tape runner (I really like that stuff;
it isn't too intimidating for my non-crafty self.)
Then, just punch a hole at the top to tie a sweet little bow
and attach the twine at the bottom with the adhesive.
***Ready to buy this sweet set of crafty goodness?
Then just pop over to Annie's Paper Boutique
before they are all gone.***

There will also be FREE coordinating SVGs available in the MTE shop here.
Now everyone knows that we can't have a blog hop
 without a little blog candy...
so of course, we have some of that, too.
We are giving away two of these adorable Spook-tacular sets.
Just in time for your Trick-or-Treat goodies.

Wow! Sounds like some serious fun is ahead.
I'm super excited!
So friends, are we ready to get this hop going?

Your next stop is Belinda.
Here is the order of the hop:

Have fun along the way.

Guest Designer Lyndal

A few months back I was visiting blogs and I came across Lyndal from Dreams & Other Realities.  She is so creative and I just love her work.  I'm super excited to have her as a guest designer on the blog today.  (Wooowhoooo!)  We are featuring the Chocolate Sprinkles twine this month and our theme is geared toward little boys.  Lyndal went along with our theme and created this adorable bookmark.

I love to read and it has to be a real book.
I can't do the whole new age
electronic book thingy; it just isn't the same.
(I know, I know, I need to get with the times.)
So I'm really loving her bookmark.
The sentiment paired up with that cute little car is perfect.
And that tassel....LOVE it.

Be sure to visit her Lyndal's blog,
leave her some love, and thank her for guesting.

Don't forget to enter the monthly challenge
You still have plenty of time.

Remember that Trendy Twine has teamed up with My Thoughts Exactly to bring you the MTE & TT Spook-tacular Blog Hop that starts here tomorrow at 5:00 am Central Time.  TT and MTE are releasing a sweet little Halloween Bundle that has an exclusive stamp set and twine color.  You won't want to miss it...there is some blog candy.  Yum!

Trendy Vase and Sticky Fingers

Happy Wednesday, Trendy Twiners! How are you liking the Chocolate Sprinkles projects so far? I know I have added some to-dos to my list of crafty projects!

So when I was told which twine would be spotlighted this month, my first idea was I wanted to make a twine bowl. My craft room is done in the blue/brown color combo. And I needed a small container to hold little buttons or embellishments for whatever project I am working on.

Well, lets just say after multiple tries, I finally gave up on that idea. But I still needed a container. So off I went to the craft store and came home with a small glass vase. After several twirls of twine and globs of mod-podge, here is my project:

It is time-consuming, but very simple to make! To finish the project, I wrapped Chocolate Truffle Twine a few times around and added the button. Viola!
Don't you just love the Chocolate Sprinkles color combo?! I do! Don't forget there is a chance for you to win this lovely twine! There is still plenty of time to join our September Challenge! Get the details HERE!
Thank you for stopping today!

It's A Party!

Hi, everyone.  It's Izzy Anderson here on the blog today with a Design Team project using Chocolate Sprinkles twine, a fun mix of light blue and dark brown. This twine makes me think of sweet baby boy, so I made a festive card to celebrate a little one.

Trendy Twine is so easy to work with.  It's a great weight, ties nicely and doesn't slip. It was the perfect choice for these balloon strings tied in a tricky, tight spot on the elephant's trunk.

I have additional pictures and information about this card on on my blog, Write Snap Scrap. Stop on by!

If you'd like some chocolate sprinkles of your very own, you're in luck. It's on sale this month in the Trendy Twine store.  You could also win 50 yards of chocolate sprinkles by entering our challenge this month.  You can find all the details on this blog post. Thanks so much for stopping by!
