July Product Spotlight - Orangesicle

 Happy July, Trendy Twiners!

Orangesicle is our wonderful color of the month. A perfect choice for

your summer projects with its lovely twist of vibrant orange, peach, and white.

For a sweet little pop of color, add a little Orangesicle Trendy Twine to your crafting, packaging, and decorating. It’s great for embellishing cards and pages, sprucing up giftwrapping, topping a tag, tying up a yummy treat, and so much more.

You can also find Orangesicle in the Orange Sampler and in the Original Sampler. Each

color is ten yards in length and comes on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Amazing Tool Treat Bag

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a new project that features Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine. I mentioned in my last post how much I love the versatility of that twist. This time I created a masculine tool themed treat bag. 

I started with a Kraft Chevron Treat Bag, added washi tape around it, then three rounds of Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine on top of the washi tape. Where the ends of the tape and twine were, I created a little stamped circle using circle punches and the Raisin Boat Nailed It! stamp set. For the tag, I used a Lemon Chunky Tag-It, stamped more tool stamps in black ink and highlighted them with white gel pen. I stamped a sentiment from the APB Choose Happy stamp set in black onto white paper and made a little banner on the tag with it. At the top of the tag, I finished it off with more Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine and attached it to the treat bag with a Mini Wooden Clothespin. Now it is ready to give! It fits a gift card and candy perfectly.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Birthday Bee Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a project for the Trendy Twine blog that features Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine. I love the versatility of that twist! It works amazing for masculine projects, spring projects, and of course, bee themed projects, which is what I am sharing today.

On this card, I used several patterned papers from Echo Park's Bee Happy 6x6" paper pad. I wrapped Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine around both sides of the center strip of patterned paper two times to create a border. The GMD double stitched hexagon die cuts popped up with foam tape made a perfect landing pad for little bumblebees that I punched out of the patterned paper! I then created bee trails by using my precision glue press and just freehanding curly lines, then adding more Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine to those glue lines. For the sentiment strip, I used the Pink and Main Sweet stamp set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and Scrapbook.com Daffodil ink. That also was popped up at an angle with the same angle as the hexagon sides in the middle of the card. I also added a trio of honey colored gems to finish everything off.

June Product Spotlight - Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine

 Happy June, Trendy friends!

Lemon Midnight is our awesome color of the month. It's a lovely twist of lemon yellow, white, and black licorice. Trendy Twine is perfect for adding some color to your crafting, packaging, and decorating. Use it to embellish your cards and scrapbook pages, dress up a gift, top off a tag, or tie up a sweet treat. The possibilities are endless.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Blue Gift Tag

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a monochromatic gift tag. I love that it will work for a guy or a gal!

I started with a Sky Tag-It and stamped a sentiment from the APB You've Got Mail stamp set using Scrapbook.com Charcoal Ink onto it, leaving space to write underneath. at the bottom of the tag, I wrapped 2 kinds of washi tape and a length of Blue Berry Trendy Twine. An In The Navy Trendy Page Dot and Blue Berry Trendy Twine at the top of the tag kept the blue theme going. To add a little sparkle, I glued a trio of Blue Berry sequins to the tag. Now it is ready to add to a gift!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Bright Days Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here. May is such a happy time of the year and today's project reflects that. I created a card that is all about sunshine and rainbows and it features Blue Berry Trendy Twine, our twine of the month.

All the patterned papers and the focal point are from the 6x6" Echo Park My Favorite Summer pad. I wrapped Blue Berry Trendy Twine three times around the seam of the background patterned papers, then added a bow. The focal point was popped up with foam tape. The finishing touch was a trio of Blue Berry sequins. Additional adhesives used include ATG and Precision Glue Press.
