Farmer Boy Birthday Card

Hello everyone!  This is Beth from Beth's Beauties and today I am sharing a birthday card I created for one of my nephews.  He just turned 9 and is a farm boy :)  

 The focal point is the stamp that is from Paper Nest Dolls called Farmer Owen.  Truthfully, I don't color images.  I use seem to use die cuts for the main image so this was actually the first time I had colored in a large stamp.  I used prismacolor pencils and I think it turned out pretty good for my first try!  At the right side I added a couple staples and two buttons that are laced with Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine, which happens to be on sale right now!  It is my favorite color of twine since it is so versatile.

For the scalloped tag, I used a stamp set and die from My Craft Spot.  You can also see the burlap that I added behind the stamped image for texture.

 This is what it looks like all set up!  The papers I used were from The Paper Studio and the stack is called Yee Haw!  The inside sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's.

Fall Treats Gift Basket

Hello and Good Saturday to you!

Hope you are staying warm this fall Saturday morning! It's Tammy here, and I have a fall gift basket I would like to share featuring some awesome Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.

 I put together a little fall gift basket. I went to a local pumpkin patch and picked up some apple butter which is perfect for gift giving this time of year. I added a piece of fall patterned paper to the top to dress it up and wrapped a piece of Orange Truffle Trendy Twine before placing it in my basket surrounded by yummy Hershey Kisses and Rolos. I also added a cute orange pumpkin scrubby behind the jar.  

I created a treat topper and cut a turkey to add to the top. I added a twine bow around Mr. Turkey's neck. :-). The fall sign is trimmed with some amazing Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.

Fall Leaf Wreath: Trendy Twine Guest Designer Fleurette Bloom

Fleurette here again,  It's so fun being a Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!  I really wanted a pretty fall wreath for my front door and thought why not make one out of paper!  To embellish it I chose  a few beautiful colors of Trendy Twine, picking up on the colors in the papers.  I also threaded twine through the buttons around the edge of the wreath, adding lots of texture and dimension.

Supplies needed to create this Fall Leaf Wreath:

• Card Stock
• Paper Glue
• Hot Glue
• Buttons
• Ribbon

The coordinating paper pack I used to create this project is "Summertime Fun".

This project can be completely cut on 8.5" x 11" card stock, of course you can size it larger if you want by using 12" x 12" card stock 

How To Create Wreath Bow

Cut twine in 39" strips wrap twine around 4 fingers leaving tail at each end.

Slide off fingers ~ it should look like this

Cut a strip of twine about 5" and tie around loops ~ as shown below

Trim ends and glue a button in the center, then glue onto your wreath

I think the multi strand Trendy Twine bow adds just the right finishing touch :)

Wine Bottle Tag

Hello, this is Sukie and I have a project featuring Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.  I created a wine bottle tag which was hand cut.  I added an acorn cut from the Autumn Celebrations cartridge.

The acorn was embellished with a couple of paper flowers and a coordinating button.  A twine bow was added to the flower embellishment.

I wrapped the top of the acorn with some more twine and tied a small bow.  A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set was tucked under the twine.

Trendy Recipe Cards

Hi There Trendy Fans!
It's Shelly from My Paper Love bringing you some Fall fun. Do you have a special recipe for the Fall? Maybe a special dish for Thanksgiving? Well our family has a few and every time my Mom or relatives make their special dish someone always wants the recipe. So this year I made some recipe cards using TT's Manila Paper Pockets & Thanksgiving Orange Truffle Trendy Twine. 

I started with our most popular recipes. One for Mom's Apple Pie and my cousins corn bread..YUMMM

I covered the manila pockets with some Fall pattern paper and die cut a cute little corn and a fun little apple.

These  Cute little pockets can be used with your journal, smashbook, daily planner, or Filofax. But how cute are they for these recipe cards....and I made one more fun thing with these pockets that I will share next month :) They measure 3-1/2" wide and 4-3/4" tall; the actual pocket measures 3-3/4" tall  

I die cut lined paper and placed a label at the top. 

 You can easily hand write the recipe or print it also.

Fall Harvest Snack Mix

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!

and I am so excited to be sharing another project with you all!

Fall is in the air.....winter in some places :( but Thanksgiving is just around the corner so for my project today, I have a sweet treat idea to share that would surly make those little ones at the Thanksgiving dinner table VERY happy!

 I followed the current Trendy Twine Challenge going on right now.....

which is a

 and here is what I came up with.....

Yummy treat don't you think?? And what kiddo doesn't LOVE a homemade, filled with their favorite treat snack mix??

 (When I was gathering supplies for this one, my kiddos were over my shoulder sneaking in a handful...I had to chase them out of the kitchen or I wouldn't have enough left for my project..LOL)

The AWESOME thing about making your own snack mix is you can add whatever you have on hand, like in mine I added: chex cereal, m&m's, chocolate covered mini pretzels, yogurt covered raisins and some walnuts. I mixed it all up and poured it into one of the Biggie Candy Bags. I sealed the bag up and it was ready for the tag.

For the tag, I used My Creative Time Just Tags die as well as the leaf dies from the Piles of Smiles set. I die cut both in  brown and orange cardstock to match the Orange Truffle Trendy Twine . For the sentiment, I also used a My Creative Time stamp from the Just for You set. To attach it to the bag, I wrapped one of those ADORABLE Mini Wooden Scoops in some Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and tied it with a double bow.

I wanted to make Thanksgiving cards for the kiddos over at Cards for Kids.

I used the Create a Critter cartridge for the leaf and stamped PKS "Everyday Character 

Face Assortment". 

With the beautiful Orange Truffle Trendy Twine, I made a little bow on the adorable leaf 

and wrapped it around my card, placed a tag with a "Thankful for you" sentiment.
