Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!

Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap wishing you all a very Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

I have a very special card to share today,made in honor of all the men and woman both past and present who fight for our country!

For my card I used the Totally White Trendy Twine (a MUST have in my opinion) and I showed you how by coloring 2 of the strands using my copic markers you can have any color twine to match your card perfectly!

Here is my card, I hope you like it....

I kept my card CAS to show you how twine can be used as a focal point as well as an embellishment for your projects. The image I used is a stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps that I colored using my copic markers. I did add some clear Wink of Stella to the white parts of the image, but unfortunately the picture doesn't show the sparkle.

Here is a closeup of my twine. I used 3 strands of the Totally White and then using my red copic and my blue copic markers, I colored the other strands. A perfect match to my image. After wrapping the strands around my white card stock mat and tying it in a bow, the mat was ready to be mounted onto my black card base. Once the bow was fluffed and situated exactly how I wanted it, I tied off the ends on a knot and trimmed the excess off.
