Christmas Ornament Card Set ~ Guest Designer Yuki

Yuki here with my final post as Guest Designer on the Trendy Twine Blog. It's been such an honor being a Guest Designer and I hope you've enjoyed my posts this weekend. :)

For my final post, I decided to make a set of Christmas cards you could easily mass produce. I used the same basic design for all of the cards and just changed up the color scheme. I just love how Trendy Twine offers such a wide variety of beautiful colors that coordinate perfectly with any project. I used the Simon Says Stamp "Ornaments" stamp set and coordinating dies for the ornaments and "Tickled with Teal," "Blue Berry," "Twisted Lime," and "Peppermint Stick" Trendy Twines to hang the ornaments from.

Twine Hair Pretties

Hello, hello, it's Becki from The Happy Card Encouragement Factory back again with (well, what I think anyway) a super cool way to use my favorite twine in the world. Lesley challenged us to make flowers with her lovely twine and that's exactly what I did.

If you would like to see the cutie-patootie that was my unconventional model and how I made these adorable flowers, head over to my blog and check it out. I won't have a full blown tutorial right now, but I will give the supplies and a few links. Before you head over there, pick up the four colors I used here so you can be all set to make your own  - Lemon Tart, Grape Fizz, Orangesicle, and Twisted Lime.

Also, don't forget about the April Challenge: Spring into Spring. Please try and enter, you just may win a fabulous twiney prize. :) Trendy Twine also has a great sale on the color of the month:

Pick it up for just $7.95 this month.

See you on the flip side!

It's Always Nice to Wish The Best.......

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap and today is my day to share some twine goodness with you all.  For the entire month of March the DT is featuring the gorgeous

Image of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine {Light Green & Dark Green Bakers Twine}
Isn't is such a GREAT twist of greens???

If you are a blog follower of mine, then you know I love to create CAS cards... and I am always on the lookout for different ways to use my twine.
So for my card today I went with just that... CAS design and let the twine be my burst of color...
Hope you like it!
I used a beautiful border stamp and added some eyelets to the corners in line with the stamp pattern. Then I threaded my twine though the holes leaving some hanging over the egdes on purpose for a fun added look :)
I think this gives the twine the front and center spotlight and really shows off the beautiful colors and twist.
What do you think???

 Don't forget about this month's challenge~
~St. Patrick's Day with a clover, leprechaun, or both
~Monochromatic green (shades of green; no other colors)
and
~Trendy Twine
You still have time to enter and we would LOVE to see all those projects!!!!

As always there are additional details up on my blog. I would love if you popped over to say "Hi" there as well!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT week!!!

Cards With Twine by Danielle Flanders

Hi there! This is Danielle Flanders here today on the Trendy Twine blog with a couple of quick and easy things you can do with your twine! There are so many different ways you can create with layers in your scrapbooking and card making, and twine is a simple way to add another layer of interest without a lot of bulk. Today I'm using the Original 6 Mini Pack of twine.

On my first card, the first thing I did to create it was to adhere two die cuts from London Market Ephemera (post card and flowers) by Pink Paislee. Next, I stamped the postage stamp with red ink onto pink patterned paper from the London Market 6x6 Paper Pack and cut it out. I adhered it, then stamped the black postage mark over the top. The black frame is another Ephemera piece also that I folded in half over the top of the card! (It was actually placed there to cover up a stamping mistake!)
I wrapped the Strawberry Cupcake twine around the card top before adhering to the card base and used the twine to tie on a Wooden Spool Button by Pink Paislee. You can use twine for SO many things! To tie on buttons, wrap around cards, make mini banners with and so much more.
On the second card, the Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine is used here to create butterfly antennas - just wrapped it around the butterfly and tied, leaving two tails for the antennas.
I also stitched around the die cut with Twisted Lime twine to add dimension and interest to a plain 'old die cut. :) (Oops, I see that one antennae is falling down in my pic.)

Would you like to win an Original 6 Mini Pack of twine? Just hop over to the Trendy Twine Facebook page and tell them I sent you!

Christmas Ornament Ball

Hello Trendy Twine fans! There's a new crafter in town! Kasi from 19Eighty Expressions here posting my very first Trendy Twine design team project! Well, technically I am a *guest designer* but I'll be legit starting January 1st!

I decided to make something a little different than I normally make, ornaments made out of twine! Oh yea, you can make some pretty stuff with twine!

I made some in traditional colors.....

Peppermint Stick Twine

Twisted Lime Twine w/a hint of Peppermint Stick

And some in not-so-traditional colors....

Blueberry Twine

Blue Berry Twine

I was thinking of glittering up these babies but decided against it since it may hide the pretty twine and unfortunately I didn't think to adorn these with pretty buttons or other embellishments until after I took these pictures (you know how time-consuming that is!) so here they are in all their naked glory.  I think adorned or not they are super cute.

Head to my blog for details on how I made these adorable twine Christmas ornaments.
