February Product Spotlight - Limeade and Totally Limeade Trendy Twine

 Happy first day of February!
With winter in full swing, we decided to change things up and spotlight Limeade and Totally Limeade to remind us that spring is just around the corner.  Not only are these bright and cheerful twines perfect for St. Patrick's Day, they are also great for year round projects.

Limeade Trendy Twine is a twist of lime and white.

We also have a cute sampler that includes those two twines plus Totally White.

Let's look at some past DT projects featuring these twists of Trendy Twine.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Lollipop Box

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  This month we are showcasing Orange Limeade Trendy Twine which was released as a Halloween twist, but as you can see, it works wonderfully for summer as well!
I started with a 2x2 Kraft Box and wrapped some patterned paper around it.  I kept the box fairly simple, only adding a tag to the top with some Limeade Trendy Twine wrapped around the box.
The tag was created with the following items:  White Tag-ItLime Orangesicle Trendy Page Dots, a stamped sentiment from the APB Choose Happy stamp set and a lollipop made out of Orange Limeade Trendy Twine.  To create the lollipop, I simply had a 1" circle of cardstock that I covered with red line tape.  Once the tape liner was removed, I wound the Orange Limeade Trendy Twine around and around until it filled the circle.

Happy Boxing Day!

So for today's project, I was inspired by this and made my very own twine winter hat ornament for my Christmas tree! Don't you think it looks pretty cool, as if I have knitted it? :)

Trendy Twine - Beach Bucket Treats

Hello Trendy Twine friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.

We are in the middle of summer, which means sun filled days and playing in the water :)  For my post today, I made this fun bucket filled with treat bags.
I used the Nautical and Limeade Trendy Twines to wrap around the top of the bucket.  I also used the same colors and braided them to create the handle on the bucket.  The cutting file for the bucket is from SVG Attic's Sweet Shop Party.
For the treat bags, I used the medium candy bags and added toppers that have more Nautical Trendy Twine and die cuts from SVG Attic's Just Beachy collection.
Here is a closer look at all of the bag toppers.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Bunny Treat Box

Good morning all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here!  Only one more week until Easter, so naturally, that is what my project is all about.

I dressed up a bunny treat holder that is from SVG Attic's Happy Easter kit.  Isn't he the cutest thing?!  Here is a closeup of the wonderful Trendy Twine I used.  I wrapped Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around the bunny's neck and tied it in a bow.  Plus I added a bit of Limeade Trendy Twine around the carrot top.  Those two twines coordinate perfectly!

Here is a picture of the bunny opened up with all of the Easter treats inside!

For My Peeps!!!

Happy Saturday Trendy Twine Peeps!!!

It's Melissa here, from M Miranda Creations, sharing with you today.

It's the last day of February and Spring is almost here. Yay!!! I hope you have been following us all month long as we have been featuring Limeade Trendy Twine and the Kraft Gable Boxes.

Is it too early to start getting ready for Easter?! I don't think so!!!

I started with the Kraft Gable Box and added panels along all 4 sides around the bottom. The panels are cut at 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 for the front and back and 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 for the sides. I then took my Limeade Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the box 3 times and tied it off using a button. To get my button to stay put I added foam squares to the back of it. I then cut some Peeps from a file from Cuddly Cute Designs, inked the edges, and attached them to the front of the box with some more foam squares.

The tag is a file from the Silhouette store and I inked the edges, stamped on the "for my" sentiment, and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls embossing folder. I used the same file from Cuddly Cute Designs to cut out the Peeps file. I inked the edges of this as well, glued it together, and then used foam squares to attach it to the tag. The tag was then attached to the Kraft Gable Box using two lengths of Limeade Trendy Twine and tied in a bow.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in here at the blog! We appreciate having you here and hope you will leave a comment. We all enjoy reading them!

We also invite you to follow Trendy Twine on Facebook and at the Twine It Up! Facebook Group.

You're my pot of gold!

Hi there Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a little treat for St. Patrick's Day featuring our color of the month Limeade Trendy Twine. Our new neighbors are Irish and they have a big St. Patty's day party and I thought this would be a fun little treat to bring for the kids.

I started with these fun mini treat cups from Annie's Paper Boutique. They were perfect for my pots!

Next I had to add the gold :) which are yummy rolo candies that I put in cone bags also from Annie's Paper Boutique.

And lastly I tied them up with some Limeade Trendy Twine and attached a fun little tag.
I just LOVE how these turned out.

You can find everything you need to make these in the Trendy store Annie's Paper Boutique

Bug Box

Good morning Trendy Twine friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with you and today I am sharing a fun way to package treats for the young boys in our lives!  I started out by using a Kraft Gable Box and I had a lot of fun decorating it.
First, I added plaid paper to the four side panels of the box.  Then I wrapped that bright green ant paper around the center.  I had these fun plastic ants laying around and adhered them to the front :)
I created the magnifying glass in my cutting software, then added a sentiment tag and an arrow.
The magnifying glass handle is wrapped with Limeade Trendy Twine.  The bow that attached the glass and tag to the handle of the box is made from Chocolate Truffle and Limeade Trendy Twine.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
