Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Easter!

Hello all, and happy Easter! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a new set of Easter cards! I needed a few more cards to send out, and this was just the right amount.

The part that makes these cards so adorable are the new circle retro Easter tags. I just couldn't wait to use them! This first set has Happy Easter Ducky Retro Tags and blue 3" Paper Doilies. 

To add extra visual interest around the tag, I used Bearly Art precision glue to add a circle and bow of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine. Blue Berry Sequins were the final embellishment for this duo of cards.

The second set of cards feature Easter Egg Chick Retro Tags and green 3" Paper Doilies. They are embellished in a similar way with the Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, but have Grape Fizz sequins.

The patterned papers I used are from the Jillibean Soup Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup 6x6 pad. The sketch was from February 2024 SheetLoad of Cards.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Flower Note Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  I don't know about you, but I definitely have spring fever.  Today's project is all about a bold and beautiful bloom!

I started with a Lavender Scallop Note Card and adhered a Sizzix Thinlits Icelandic Poppy die cut to it.  The top layer of petals were popped up with foam tape for extra dimension.  I then added a sentiment strip using a stamp from the Friendship stamp set and Scrapbook.com Mardi Gras ink.  Before adding it to my flower, I wrapped the beautiful Grape Fizz Trendy Twine around both ends and also added a double bow of Grape Fizz Trendy Twine to the left side.  A few Grape Fizz Sequins dressed up the flower.  Since I plan to use this notecard as a gift tag, I punched a hole on the top left corner and added a loop of Grape Fizz Trendy Twine that will make it easy to attach to the gift.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Sweet Easter Treat Bag

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Easter is right around the corner, so of course, that is the theme of today's project! This sweet Easter treat bag went together easily and would work to make multiples of if needed.

First, I grabbed a Purple Chevron Treat Bag and filled it with York peppermint eggs, YUM!  I folded over the top of the bag to attach the decorated tag.  For that, I utilized a White Large Tag-It that I embossed with a basket weave Darice embossing folder and added egg die cuts to it.  The yellow egg was embossed with a chevron Darice embossing folder to continue the design on the bag.  That egg was popped up with foam tape and a bow of Totally Grape Trendy Twine was glued to it.  A Kraft Brown Trendy Page Dot, a sentiment stamped in black ink from the Greetings stamp set, and Grape Fizz Sequins finished off the tag.  To attach it to the bag, I punched a hole in the bag and wrapped Totally Grape Trendy Twine several times around the top of the hole, creating a fan appearance on the front and securing the Trendy Twine on the back side.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Lightning Bugs Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this fun lightning bug card...or do you call them fireflies?  One way or the other, this card sure made me smile while I was creating it!

The image stamps were from Pink & Main's Way to Glow stamp set and were cut around using a Brother Scan N Cut.  The sentiment stamp is from Annie Paper Boutique's Greetings stamp set, which is a must have set (and currently on a fantastic sale!).  All were stamped with black ink and I then colored the images with Artify alcohol markers.  I made this card for my niece who loves purple, so I had to find papers to match the colored bugs!  Instead of matting the strip of plaid paper, I added lines of Totally Kraft Trendy Twine and Totally Lemon Trendy Twine next to it for definition.  The focal point was die cut using Cottage Cutz stitched circle and scalloped circle dies.  I added more Totally Kraft Trendy Twine around the handle of the net to look like a grip.  The final embellishments were a trio of Grape Fizz Sequins and a bit of Wink of Stella glitter on the wings and lights of the bugs.  Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue, ATG, and foam tape.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Mother's Day Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a Mother's Day card.  It features one of our bright and cheerful twines of the month, Totally Lemon Trendy Twine.

I started by stamping a Unity stamp onto watercolor paper with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink.  Once that was fully dry, I watercolored the image with Distress Inks then die cut around the image with a GMD Eyelet Elegance rectangle die.  That die has the perfect holes to weave the Totally Lemon Trendy Twine through!  I love how it added texture and created another visual frame around the image.  I added a sentiment from the APB Friendship stamp set onto a kraft banner and glued a die cut "mom" above it to make it a little more personalized.  The sequins on the card are from the Grape Fizz Sequin, Raspberry Cupcake Sequin and Sky Sequin mixes and were adhered with Bearly Art precision tip glue. The whole front panel was then glued to a kraft card base that I had distressed with brown ink along the edges.  I think this will be the perfect card to give my mom for Mother's Day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Hibiscus Treat Packet

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a fun summer themed project that features Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine. Did you know this twist is intended to be used for Halloween or Mardi Gras projects? As you can see, it is perfect for summer or any time projects too.

I started with a Grape Treat Packet and added a stamped hibiscus flower from a Pink and Main mini stamp set using Scrapbook.com inks in Rubber Ducky, Succulent, Soft Lavender, Parisian Purple, and Mardi Gras.  I cut that out with my Brother Scan N Cut and left a thin white border around it so it would pop against the purple background.  I then glued Grape Fizz Sequins around the image.  At the top, I used a hole punch to punch both cardstock layers, added Lime Orangesicle Trendy Page Dots and strung three strands of Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine through those holes and tied a bow.  I filled the included zip top bag with Apple-O's candy, which matched the twine perfectly!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Popsicle Friendship Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a fun summer themed project that features Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine.  Did you know this twist is intended to be used for Halloween or Mardi Gras projects?  Guess what?  I used it because I love the bright colors and they work perfect for summer.  I encourage you to do the same with any of your "traditional" craft supplies.  Use them for something new and unexpected!

This was a fairly simple card.  The background has washi tape strips in green and purple on it and I added strips of Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine around the washi tape.  I glued a bow of Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine on the center wrap of twine, then added the stamped sentiment from Friendship Stamps in purple ink.  The twin popsicles were svg files and I inked the edges of the cuts for extra dimension.  Grape Fizz Sequins added a little sparkle to the card front and all that was matted with green and purple cardstock to tie the color scheme together.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Layout in Purples

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  This time I have a scrapbook layout to share.  While this layout isn't flashy or bright or elaborate, it is one of my favorites because a little bit of my heart is on this page.  The photo on it is of my precious baby girl during her "newborn" photo shoot in 2018.  It is the most perfect picture of her and it holds such a special place in my heart.  I guess that is the reason we scrapbook, right?! To preserve those memories!

First up, I started with papers from DCWV's Lilac Love stack and one piece from DCWV's Silver Leaf stack.  I decided on the placement of the elements on the page and thought the simple title "Love" would be perfect.  That was cut from vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo.  I knew I wanted to make the picture pop as the focal point, so I outlined the tan photo mat with Grape Fizz Trendy Twine using Lineco Adhesive in a precision tip bottle.

I knew I wanted to add some sparkle to the page, so I used Grape Fizz Sequins, plus white and silver gems to add some visual interest.

Last, but not least, I added a duo of tag-its.  One of my favorite things to do is to layer a darker color under the lighter one so the top tag really pops!  The supplies I used for this one include: Lavender Tag-It, Grape Tag-It, Krazy for Kraft Trendy Page Dot, Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, Documenting the Everyday stamp set, Charcoal ink, flower die and gems.

Hello everyone!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a tag and twine post.  Purples were calling my name this time ;)

I started with a Lavender Large Tag-It and glued die cuts from GMD butterfly and vine set onto it.  The sentiment from APB Choose Happy stamp set was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  At the top of the tag, I added a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot and Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.  The coordinating Grape Fizz sequins were a perfect finishing touch.

Trendy Baker's Twine -- Bunny Treat Packet

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I have an extra post today using Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, Grape Fizz Sequins, a Lavender Treat Packet, White Tag-It and a Purple Chevron Trendy Page Dot.

The Grape Fizz Trendy Twine is the Weekly Wow that's on sale and has free shipping through tomorrow (Wednesday, March 27).

To start, I embossed my Lavender Treat packet with a polka dot folder.  Next I did a print then cut bunny on my Cricut.  I stamped my sentiment and pop dotted the bunny onto the White Tag-It.  

To finish off the tag, I added my Grape Fizz Sequins and my Purple Chevron Trendy Page Dot. Last, but not least, I wrapped my Grape Fizz Trendy Twine the top of the treat packet, attached my tag, and tied it off into a bow.
