Trendy Bakers Twine~Christmas Gift Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here. If you are like me and are still scrambling to get those last minute Christmas gifts organized, this post is for you!  Today I am sharing a gift card holder that can be made in a snap.
I used a Small Glassine Bag to hold the gift card.  They are seriously the perfect size for that purpose and I have used them on many occasions for that!  I then added a belly band of patterned paper, some Delightful Sequins, a metal rim kraft tag that I stamped with a sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set in green ink, and Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot.  The beautiful Krafty Red Trendy Twine and Cherry Latte Trendy Twine were twisted into a rope by using the Sizzix Twist & Style tool.  I started with 2 strands of Krafty Red  and 3 strands of Cherry Latte which made a lovely chunky rope that makes me think of a scarf for these cold winter days!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Here is a look at the featured samplers of the month:

Don't forget all Christmas stamps are on sale this month!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Halloween Slimline Card with Glassine Gift Card Holder

 Hello, crafty friends!

Guest Designer, Lisa here from LisaMensing.com

Today I have a super simple, slimline card/gift card holder combo to share with you.

  • 3.5" x 8.5" 100lb Neenah Avalanche White card base
  • 3 1/8" x 8 3/8" piece of pattern paper (I used EP - Bewitched)
  • center pattern paper on the card base using glue or tape
  • place the gift card and a few sequins in one biggie glassine bag, fold closed
  • add sookwang tape to the back of the glassine bag, be sure to place the tape so it's hidden behind the inserted gift card, secure to the card base with the sookwang tape
  • create a paper rosette, (video here) loop trendy twine from the Spooktacular Sampler and the Midnight Sampler  behind paper rosette using hot glue to secure the twine to the back of the rosette
  • make one large loop using black and white chevron ribbon and adhere to the back of the rosette using hot glue
  • secure over glassine gift bag on the front of the card
  • embellish rosette with coordinating stickers or using Trendy Twine  secure to glassine bag with glue or tape (I used black round foam adhesive)

Gift Card Gifting with Annie's Paper Boutique

Gift Cards are popular for gift giving, especially during the holidays. The Trendy Gals and Theresa have created some beautiful holiday GC holders featuring some of our fun packaging, Christmas stamps, and of course Trendy Twine. These are a great way to add a little handmade touch to the gift. You can find all of these goodies in the Boutique.

Let's take a look at the wonderful projects our designers created:

Don't these projects make you smile?  Imagine that smile on your loved ones' faces when they receive a personal yet versatile gift like one of these.

We will also have some new gift card envelopes coming later this month. They are just the right size for GCs (and a small note if you want to add a little something extra). More information on these new envelopes will be posted later.

And last of all, our Christmas stamps are $12 each with free shipping
(U.S. only) through Sunday, November 10th.

We hope you've gotten a whole lot of merry inspiration. Be sure to visit each blog and leave a little love to  let our amazing designers know just how much you enjoy their projects.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a happy Friday!
