Trendy Bakers Twine~You Are 1 Layout

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with a first birthday scrapbook layout for my daughter. It features Tickled Pink Trendy Twine, a beautiful twist of pink and white, perfect for any girly projects!
All the patterned papers are from DCWV's Unicorns & Rainbows stack. It is THE stack of papers to get if you have a unicorn loving person in your life! I matted and adhered the photos first. The green striped matte layers were edged with Scrapbook.com succulent ink. I then made the title using my Silhouette Cameo and SCAL with fonts from my computer. The yellow and purple layers were solid colored cardstock, but the silver layer was adhesive vinyl. I love using that for words! The cardstock layers were adhered with Bearly Art precision glue. Before adding the number one to the layout with foam tape, I glued a 3" paper doily in green to the background paper, then wrapped Tickled Pink Trendy Twine around the 1 and tied it in a knot. I then put the Tickled Pink Trendy Twine up to the balloon, which was inked around with Scrapbook.com Candy Shop Pink ink. After adding a bow of Tickled Pink Trendy Twine on the balloon, I glued Raspberry Cupcake Sequins around the title.
I added a journaling tag to the layout with a Lavender Tag-It, Lemon Midnight Trendy Page DotTickled Pink Trendy Twine, and stamped a sentiment from the Documenting the Everyday #2 stamp set with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist ink. The bottom right corner had a unicorn printed on the paper. I simply added a double bow of Tickled Pink Trendy Twine to it's head to fancy it up a bit!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can find our featured twist of April, Tickled Pink, in the following samplers if you don't need a whole spool.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back To School Layout

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This month, the we are spotlighting back to school projects with Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine.  What a fun time of the year!  The absolute MUST for our family during this time of the year is a back to school photo and scrapbook page.  Today I am sharing one for my middle son, but I also plan to make similar ones for my other two boys.

I started out with Park Lane's School Day's paper pad and that was so adorable, I didn't need to embellish the paper with much at all!  Of course, I needed the photo and matting, but I also wanted a place to document about this day.   A Manila Library Pocket (Standard size) was perfect for that!  I decorated it with Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine, washi tape, and stamps from the APB Documenting the Everyday #2 stamp set.  Once that was adhered to the paper, I added a Black Large Tag-It on which I stamped and heat embossed the word "Feeling" from the APB Feeling Happy Planner stamp set.  The tag was also embellished with a Cherry Latte Trendy Page DotCherry Midnight Trendy Twine, and Totally Red Trendy Twine.  The page title was created in my SCAL4 software using white vinyl and the Learning Curve font.
One other addition to the layout was another sentiment from the APB Documenting the Everyday #2 stamp set underneath the photo and lines of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine above and below the photo.  Those pieces were very easy to adhere with a thin line of glue from the Bearly Art precision glue bottle.  Now I better get busy making back to school layouts for my other kids!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
Manila Library Pocket (Standard size)

You can also get the Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine in the sweet Cherry Midnight Sampler!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

I created this fun card using die cut balloons and Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine
I thought it would be fun to use the twine for the balloon strings and then I added a few accents with sequins.

The sentiment is from two different stamp sets Smile Stamp Set, & Documenting the Everyday 2 Stamp Set. This is a really clean and simple card perfect for someone that loves Red & Pink.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Sibling Love Layout

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine is our featured twist this month, so I created this layout to showcase it.
I started by creating a banner in the top left corner and used Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine to display it as well as to have little bows at each end.  The Sibling Love title was cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
All patterned papers were from DCWV's Sunday Afternoon stack.
I added two panels on the layout, one for a picture, and the other for journaling.  The journaling panel is actually from the Fun in the Sun printable set and it coordinated perfectly with the patterned papers, so I just had to use it!  I also added a Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot and a tassel of Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine to the top and stamped sentiments in black from the Documenting the Everyday #2 stamp set onto the panel.  I used two dots from the center of Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dots as accents to the left of the journaling panel.
Underneath the photo panel, I added a strip of patterned paper and a bow of Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.  Now it is ready for me to find the perfect picture to add and document!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Planner Friday - July

Amanda here from She's Eclectic. It's finally summer and the schools have broken up for the holidays here in the UK!  I am all set for fun in the sun, days out and lots of adventures which I want to document in my cute little travellers notebook and Annie's Paper Boutique has the perfect stamps to help me do it!

Products used: Choose Happy stamps
Used but not pictured: Mini calendar card

I wanted to create a spread I could fill in whenever something memorable happened during the break so I got out my stamps and planning essentials and set to work!

My summer holiday spread

I started with a strip of washi tape along the top of the page and then added a sweet mini calendar which I filled in with the dates for August.  I am going to use this to record any important dates during the month and the week my husband has booked off work.

I used stamps from the Documenting The Everyday #1 & #2 sets to make sections for my memories and stories so now I have space for Family Time, So Fun, Time With Friends and room for my favourite photo I take over the summer.

Creating sections

I stamped my kraft tag-it with the Details stamp from the Documenting The Everyday #2 set and glued it next to the place I had made for my photo so I can write about when and where the picture was taken and why it is important to me.

The weather here has been glorious recently and I hope it continues through August too so I used the sun stamp from my How's The Weather set and underneath it I used the Shine Bright stamp from my Choose Happy set as my way of willing the sunshine to continue!

I'm a foodie!

I had some space left around the edge of my spread so I used some stamps from the You & MePerfect PairsFoodies and Drinks & More sets for extra decoration.  The last step was so add a few travel themed stickers and I tried to match them to the colours of the inks and the washi tape I had used to pull the whole thing together.

Do you like how it turned out?

If you want to document your summer then head over the store now and check out all the fun supplies and I'll see you again next month for another Planner Friday!

Planner Friday - May

Summer is just around the corner and I can't wait!  Spring has been a mixed bag this year, we've had a lot of rain and even some snow this side of the pond so I am looking forward to spending time outside in the sunshine more than ever right now.  Today I thought I would document my ideal summer in my travellers notebook using some of my favourite APB stamps to really get me in the mood!

Used but not pictured:

My perfect summer

So as you can see most of my favourite summer activities involve some kind of food!  Whenever I think of summer I always picture BBQs, ice cream and chilled glasses of wine, get togethers with family and friends and adventures!

I used stamps from the FoodiesDrinks & More and Perfect Pairs sets for the images in my spread and then coloured them in using pencil crayons.  The sun stamp was from the How's The Weather? set and I used yellow ink for that one so it would be nice and bright.

Then I used some stamps from the Choose HappyYou & MeDocumenting The Everyday #1 and #2 sets to add some quotes that remind me of summer to the pages!

Weekend plans

I used part of  Weekend stamp but I didn't ink the whole thing as I wanted to add an S to the end of it to make Weekends instead.  I love busy Saturdays followed by lazy Sundays especially in the summer!

What are your favourite things about summer?

If you fancy creating your own journalling spread then stop by the store now and pick up some stamps to get you started!

Planner Friday - March

Happy Easter!  I love the Easter holidays for a couple of reasons, one... well, it's chocolate and two getting to spend lots of time together with my family.  I wanted to document the holiday this year in my bullet journal so I raided my Annie's Paper Boutique supplies and created a candy coloured spread.

Products used: Tag its - pink and lemon
Used but not pictured:

I started by adding some strips of pretty washi tape to the top and bottom of the spread and then glued a couple of tag its onto the pages.  The tag its are great for adding a splash of colour and highlighting any information you want to stand out.

Recording the Easter holidays

I used the sun stamp from my How's The Weather set because I am wishing for some warm spring days while my children are off school, if the weather is awful though I have left myself space underneath the sun to record what it was actually like.

I used stamps from the Documenting The Everyday #1 and  #2 sets to make headings for my sections, some of them are on the tag its and the others are just on the paper.  Now I have space to record how we spent our family time, the "good stuff", things I want to remember and a place for my favourite photograph I take during the hoilday.  I used a stamp from the This Is December #2 set for the heading Traditions and this is where I will record the things we do to celebrate Easter each year.

I can't wait to start filling this in with my memories and musing and it will be nice to look back on these pages when my children are older and remember the times we spent together when the were small.

If you want to start journalling or add a little something extra to your currently journalling style then stop by the store and check out all the lovely supplies!

Enjoy the rest of the holiday and I will be back here next month for another Planner Friday!

Planner Friday - November

Yes!  We are so close to December I can almost taste it!  I can't wait for the festive period to start so I thought for this month's Planner Friday I would show you my Christmas themed spread in my Travellers Notebook.

My Christmas spread

I wanted to record some of my favourite things about Christmas and list the things I am looking forward to doing next month so I got to work with my Annie's Paper Boutique stamps!  I absolutely LOVE my Christmas stamp sets, they are full of fun and quirky quotes that are perfect for journalling, card making, gift tags and lots more!

On the first page I have used the Christmas Movies stamp from the This is December set for the list of films I want to watch over the holidays and I added a couple of stamps from the Foodies set as there will definitely be snacks involved while I watch them!  Frozen is a family favourite in this house so the Do you want to build a snowman? stamp from the Let It Snow set just had to make an appearance too!

On the second page I have a list of things I need to do but they are also things I enjoy.  I can't wait to put up the tree, cover the house in decorations, hit the shops to buy gifts and treats and then wrap it all up.  I also recorded some of my favourite things to drink and eat using the This Is December #2
and Drinks & More stamp sets and I have left myself a space to add a photo of my children I am going to take on Christmas Eve while they are waiting for Santa to arrive.

The last thing I did was to give myself a reminder that I need to put out some cookies and milk for Father Christmas and a carrot for Rudolph and I used the image stamps from my Perfect Pairs set for this.  I think they look super cute!

Are you all set for Christmas?  Do you want to get organised in 2018?  Why don't you pop over to the store now and check out all the fab products to help you finish off the year with a bang and banish the January blues at the start of the year?

See you again next month!

Trendy Twine - Celebrate

Happy Monday!  This is Sukie and I have a layout page to share featuring some festive Berries Jubilee twine.  It's the perfect mix of red and navy blue for those patriotic projects.  I used it to embellish my 12x12 layout page.
I found some coordinating papers in the DCWV Nantucket stack.  A bit of washi tape was used to accent my layout page along the top and bottom borders.  The border was punched with the Fiskars Scalloped Sentiment Punch.  I went to my stash of dies to cut out the banner, tags, stars and tiny circles.  The title of my layout was cut with the Cricut Sophisticated cartridge.
The whimsical sentiment and arrow are from the APB Documenting the Everyday #2 stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped 3 times for added emphasis.  The twine was tied on the tags and also adhered to the banner and photo mat.  A few GMD Patriotic Sparkle Enamel Dots were the finishing touch on my layout page.
This gorgeous twine and stamp set are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique!  Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Planner Friday - Halloween special!

Last month I showed you a peek inside my journal, well this month I wanted to show you how I will be documenting our Halloween celebrations!

Happy Halloween!

I absolutely love Halloween!  I have so much fun getting ready for it, decorating the house, carving pumpkins, making spooky treats and watching (family friendly) scary movies with the children, it's one of my favourite times of year.  This year I want to record some of my memories so I have broken out my Annie's Paper Boutique stamps and some colouring pencils.

Products used:

I have used the Documenting the Everyday sets to create spaces for me to fill in with stories about what we do on the big day and for where I want to add a photo to my pages.  The Foodies and Hello Fall stamps are great for added decoration, after all Halloween is all about pumpkins and sweeties!  The final set of stamps I have used is the new Happy Halloween set, it is full of spook-tacular words and phrases which are really fun and liven up my layout.  They are also perfect for making Halloween themed greetings cards and decorating your Halloween treat bags if you are feeling crafty.  You can find some fun projects here if you want some inspiration.

See you again next moth!
