Hello all! Welcome to 2025! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. As soon as the new year hits, I love creating for Valentine's Day. Since I send Valentine's Day cards out to family every year, I decided to create a SheetLoad of Cards featuring Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine. That twist is the perfect twine for Valentine's Day since it has both red and pink!
I used the December 2020 SheetLoad of Cards sketch for my cards. Patterned papers are all from Echo Park's Love Notes collection. I thought the papers were absolutely adorable and the Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine matched perfectly!Once I had the background papers layered, I wrapped Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine around it and adhered it to the card base. The tags were actually a piece of the patterned paper cut apart, but if you wanted to create your own with stamps, Annie's Paper Boutique has a fantastic collection of Tag-Its to choose from! I did punch a hole in the top of each tag, added a Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot, and ran two lengths of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine through the hole before popping them up with foam tape on the card.
To add a little sparkle, I glued a trio of Peppermint Stick Sequins on each card front. I think these will put a smile on the recipients' faces!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
If you don't need a whole spool of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, consider the Cherry Cupcake Sampler that includes 10 yards each of Posy, Cherry Cupcake, and Berry Trendy Twines.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
