Trendy Bakers Twine - Friends make life sweet

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly with My Paper Love sharing a fun little gift box using our spotlight color Totally White Trendy Twine
Earlier in the month, I made a card using Totally White Trendy Twine that I colored with copics. I wanted to give a friend a little gift so I thought this would be a great combo!

The box is from Annies Paper Boutique it is a 2x2 size box, perfect for a tiny gift.

I added a Kraft Tag-it tag and a sweet sentiment from the  You & Me planner-stamps. Helen from the DT trimmed her tag and it reminded me that you can use these tags for all different sized projects.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Crocus Birthday Card

Hello friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties back with a new project today.  Our featured twine for the month is Totally White Trendy Twine.  It is a must have in your crafting stash because it is so versatile...plus it is on SALE this month!  Here is the card I created with it...
Where is the Totally White Trendy Twine you ask?  I changed it into that lovely lavender color with a Copic marker (BV11)!  I colored it first, so it would have time to dry before adding it to my card.
Ready for a quick tutorial?  I stamped the image and sentiment from SumMore Fun's Crocus Craving stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I watercolored the image using Distress Oxide inks in Dusty Concord, Fossilized Amber, and Lucky Clover then sat that aside to dry.
Then I made an A2 sized white cardstock panel for the outside frame of the card.  One color at a time, I placed ink on my craft mat, spritzed it with water, then dabbed the edges of my cardstock into it, heat setting it between colors.  I repeated the process until I was happy with how it looked.  Using my paper trimmer, I cut in 3/4" from all sides to leave just the outside, so it doesn't matter how messy the inside area is!
Here is a close up of how it turned out!  I love how well the altered Totally White Trendy Twine matches the card.
After adhering the twine and frame to the crocus panel, I added Grape Fizz Sequins with Micro Glue Dots to give the appearance of a shaker card, but without the bulk of foam tape like a traditional shaker card.  I really love how it turned out!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine -- That's the Point

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I'm back again with Totally White Trendy Twine.  Today, I made some pencil treats to show you.  I used the Skinny Candy Bags, Choose Happy Stamp Set, Tag-It's, Raspberry Cupcake Sequins, Blue Berry Sequins, and Lemon Tart Sequins.

I got these cute pencils in the check out line at Michael's.  The sayings were cute and I matched up some similar ones in each bag. I cut down the Tag-It's so that the sayings on the pencils would be seen and I picked out sentiments from the Choose Happy Stamp Set that kind of matched the pencils.

I tried to find matching Tag-It's but didn't have one of these pencil colors in my stash.  So I went with a pink one.  (Lavender would have been perfect!) I used Blue Berry Sequins to accent this one.

This is a Lemon Tag-It.  I then used some Lemon Tart Sequins too.

This one is a darker pink Tag-It but I don't see it in the store.  It was probably a different pink cardstock at one point.  I used Raspberry Cupcake sequins. I loved that the sentiment matched the one pencil!

These were fun to make and will be fun to give!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Birthday Panda

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I have a Clean and Simple card to show you today.  I used Totally White Trendy Twine and the black and while sequins from Lemon Midnight Sequins.

I am not one to make a card without layers.  This is not the usual LOL!  But I loved the simplicity of the black and white on the kraft cardstock.  It's my year to try new things I guess!

I used a cute little panda from Lawn Fawn called Party Panda.  I die cut him out and his cute little cupcake.  Then I wrapped my Totally White Trendy Twine around the card twice and tied a knot in the middle.  I pop dotted the panda and cupcake above the knot.

I'm not the best at placing my Lemon Midnight Sequins 'randomly' like some people are.  But I think the card still turned out cute.

There's more fun to come this month so keep checking back! And check out these other fun places:

Trendy Bakers Twine - Hooray

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly with My Paper Love sharing a fun card using our spotlight color  Totally White Trendy Twine. This is such a great Twine to have because it will literally coordinate with any project and as a bonus you can color the twine with ink. I used the ink technique in my project.

I found some gorgeous paper and cut the letters "Hooray"

I used two colors to achieve the color that I thought would match best.
I LOVE this technique and I will be using it again and again!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Tin Tie Valentine Bag

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with this Valentine's treat bag.  This month's featured twine is Totally White Trendy Twine.  It is a wonderful twist to have on hand because not only does it match any project you may have, it can also be colored with Copic markers to make custom colors of twine.
I started with a  Kraft Tin Tie bag and adhered two strips of patterned papers that I wrapped Totally White Trendy Twine around and tied it in a bow.
Then I stamped a sentiment and heart from the You & Me planner stamp set in the bottom right corner.  This kraft bag took the ink from the stamps wonderfully!  Now it is complete to add treats to and give for Valentine's Day.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine -- XOXO Treats

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations. I hope your new year is off to a good start! I've been crafting a lot so I think it's pretty good for me in that area LOL!

Our Twine of the Month is Totally White Trendy Twine. You can color this with Copics but I love the bright white and it paired really nicely with the Kraft Treat Packet I used. I also used  the You & Me Planner Stamps.

I just wrapped my Totally White Trendy Twine around the front of the Kraft Treat Packet. I did use some tape on the other side to make sure it stayed in place with the angle going up. Then I just made little knots at at angle too. I liked this look.

I stamped the cute You & Me Planner Stamps in White Pigment ink onto the flap.  I thought I would need to heat set, but I only had clear and the pigment ink dried really well on the kraft which I was happy about!

Inside the plastic bag that comes with the packet are red only M&M's. So this would definitely work as a Valentine's treat.

Make sure to stop by all month long. I can't wait to see what everyone else does with this fun Twine!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I've made some New Year's cards so send to some friends that didn't get a Christmas card from me as I ran out of time.

These cards all use the same cut file from my Cricut that I turned into a print then cut.  I just made them different colors and used different twine and sequins on all of them.

I hope you have a happy and crafty New Year!
