Trendy Bakers Twine~Pop-Ice Pals

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  I created a scrapbook layout that features a brand new product that hit the Annie's Paper Boutique store...Chunky Tag-Its!  They are 2-3/4" wide by 3-1/2" tall so you can fit a lot onto one of these tags.  Guess what?  They fit the notebook paper stamp from the APB Get It Done stamp set PERFECTLY.  Can you tell how excited I am about these Chunky Tag-Its?!  Anyway, on to my project...

I took a photo of my daughter and her cousin BFF eating Pop-ice together and thought it would be fun to make a scrapbook layout for it.  The papers are from The Paper Studio's Pixey Stix paper pad.  All of the Trendy Twine accents on the page are Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine.

I created the title in SCAL 4.  One tip I have is to use adhesive vinyl for thin words because they always cut beautifully and already have adhesive on them!  The Pop-ice were just strips of paper that I put VersaMark on and clear embossing powder.  I think they turned out looking pretty real!  The bow of Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine was a fun addition.

The Pink Chunky Tag-It was so much fun to create and I am definitely going to use these more on layouts and simply as tags.  As I mentioned earlier, I used the APB Get It Done stamp set with VersaFine Clair inks in Morning Mist and Warm Breeze to stamp it.  I recommend using a stamp platform to get the notebook page as centered as possible. You can see I added even more Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine on the tag!  As a finishing touch, I glued on sequins from the Raspberry Cupcake and Blue Berry mixes.

Trendy Bakers Twine - Have a Happy Day

 Hi Trendy Fans!

Are you ready for a fun month of "Sweet" inspiration? This is Shelly from MyPaperLove sharing a card using the spotlight twine Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.

Okay this twine just screams ice cream! I absolutely love Aqua Blue, White, & Pink and so this is just as perfect as you can get! I made a fun little card that reminds me of an ice cream shop with the striped canopy and aqua walls. 

I used quite a few dies to make this card. I started with the rectangular mat and sized the pink striped paper for the top trim piece but wanted it to resemble a canopy. So I used a scalloped die to create the trim piece.

Next, I cut a square mat and placed the fun ice cream shape on the square mat. I tied the ice cream with the lovely Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set.

I feel so inspired by these colors and have created a few projects this month so please check back and see what the team has created this month.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Ice Cream Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today. I don't know about you, but we have been having some HOT temperatures lately, and what better treat on these hot summer days could there be than ice cream?!

I used papers and tags from the Authentique Sweetness Collection on this card.  From Annie's Paper Boutique a 5" Paper Doily that I trimmed the sides of and glued it to the background, a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot on the front tag, and Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine at the top of all three tags.  To embellish, I added pearl pen dots in bronze.  Adhesives used include ATG, Bearly Art glue and foam tape.

July Product Spotlight - Bubblegum Taffy and Twisted Gumball Trendy Twines

 Happy July, Trendy friends!

This month we are spotlighting two of our awesome Trendy Twines: Bubblegum Taffy and Twisted Gumball. Both of these colors make me think of ice cream and other yummy summertime treats! Bubblegum Taffy is a festive mix of pink, white, and aqua; Twisted Gumball is a wonderful combination of pink and blue.

Trendy Twine is great for embellishing cards and scrapbook or journaling pages, tying up a gift, topping a tag, or dressing up a sweet treat.

This is Shelly from My Paper Love here to share a project using the spotlight color of the month, Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine. 

 

 

Don't you just love Kraft projects? Something about this color that I LOVE! I started my project with a Kraft Large Tag-it and added a fun ice cream theme using mint green and kraft. 

I used a sentiment from the Friendship Stamp Set and tied my tag with some lovely Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Green & Kraft Treat

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with a fun masculine treat packet in the green and kraft color scheme.  It features one of our twists of the month, Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.

I started by gluing a piece of burlap at the bottom of a Leaf Green Treat Packet, then wrapping the front with Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.  I really love the masculine feel of those colors and textures together!

Next, I stamped the sentiment from APB You've Got Mail stamps using Olive ink and the heart from APB You & Me stamps using Succulent ink. Those inks were from Scrapbook.com and I love how they kept the greens monochromatic throughout the project.  The final touch was to add Twisted Lime Sequins using mini glue dots.  The one I added to the heart was to mask the little flower on the stamp so it could keep with the masculine theme.  I added M&M's as the treat inside.  Yummy!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Lightning Bugs Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this fun lightning bug card...or do you call them fireflies?  One way or the other, this card sure made me smile while I was creating it!

The image stamps were from Pink & Main's Way to Glow stamp set and were cut around using a Brother Scan N Cut.  The sentiment stamp is from Annie Paper Boutique's Greetings stamp set, which is a must have set (and currently on a fantastic sale!).  All were stamped with black ink and I then colored the images with Artify alcohol markers.  I made this card for my niece who loves purple, so I had to find papers to match the colored bugs!  Instead of matting the strip of plaid paper, I added lines of Totally Kraft Trendy Twine and Totally Lemon Trendy Twine next to it for definition.  The focal point was die cut using Cottage Cutz stitched circle and scalloped circle dies.  I added more Totally Kraft Trendy Twine around the handle of the net to look like a grip.  The final embellishments were a trio of Grape Fizz Sequins and a bit of Wink of Stella glitter on the wings and lights of the bugs.  Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue, ATG, and foam tape.

June Product Spotlight: Krazy for Kraft and Totally Kraft Trendy Twines

 Hello and Happy June, Trendy friends!

This month we are spotlighting two awesome Trendy Twine colors: Krazy for Kraft and Totally Kraft.  Krazy for Kraft is a beautiful mix of kraft brown and white; Totally Kraft is a lovely solid kraft. Both of these are perfect for your summertime projects. 

We originally created these two wonderful twists because kraft is one of our favorite colors and it goes so well with everything! Trendy Twine is great for embellishing cards and scrapbook or journaling pages, dressing up a gift, topping a tag, or tying up a sweet treat.
