Planner Friday - April

Wow, Planner Friday came around again so quickly!  I feel like the months are speeding by and it will be summer before we know it.  Though that's not a bad thing, I can't wait for some sunshine!

For today's post I wanted to show you how I use my Annie's Paper Boutique stamps to help keep me organised and add a little fun to my planner pages too.

I knew when I started planning my week that I was going to be busier than usual so I added plenty of check boxes for my daily to dos using a stamp from the Check It Off set and then added my reminders and lists with stamps from the At Home and School Days sets.  I reinforced the holes in my pages with colourful Trendy Page Dots, paired them with some bright and cheery washi tape and added one of my favourite coffee planner clips.

Talking of coffee I knew I was going to need a lot of caffeine see me through the week so I made it the theme for my pages!   There is a special set of  APB stamps for my fellow coffee addicts, aptly called Need Coffee and they are the perfect size for planner pages as they are quite small so you will still have have plenty of space left to make your notes around them.  I also used a larger coffee stamp from the Perfect Pairs set in my Sunday section as I have less to do that day and had more space for decoration.  The last thing I did was to colour in the stamps with fineliners and pencil crayons and then I was ready to face the week!

My week fuelled by coffee

I have to admit I am glad it is Friday now as my week is winding down a little.  I might have had a lot to do but every time I opened my planner I was greeted with a cheerful spread which made my tasks seem less daunting.

How do you get through a busy week?

Don't forget to stop by the store to check out all the lovely planning supplies and I'll be back again next month for another Planner Friday!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Thinking of You

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I have a quick and simple card to share with you today.  I used Cotton Candy Trendy Twine along with some Raspberry Cupcake and Blue Berry Sequins.

I made this card on my Cricut.  It was a pre-designed card but it had a different sentiment to write out.  I changed it to the Thinking of You and picked a cute font.  It cut out all the pieces and wrote it in a black pen.

I decided to add another layer under the pattern paper I picked out. My Cotton Candy Trendy Twine is wrapped around a few times and then tied in a bow.  Then I put it on with foam tape to pop it up a bit. I added the Raspberry Cupcake and Blue Berry sequins and then decided to outline the words with some fun Wink of Stella pens.  I love to add sparkle :)

Don't forget about the great April Treat Packaging Bundle available for a few more days.  Don't miss out!

Trendy Bakers Twine Steampunk Air Balloon ~ GDT Cyndy G.

Hello crafty friends - Cyndy from Cyndy G Time Made for Me.  Today I am sharing my last GDT project for the month.  I made a Steampunk Air Balloon using the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine.  The svg files are from SVG Attic/Snapdragon Snippets.

Steampunk submarine air balloon

I ran the "rope" panels through my Xyron machine and applied the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine to the front of them.  It was very easy to do but if you are going to try this make sure not to pull your twine tight that will cause the twine to separate from the panel.  I braided some of the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine and attached an anchor and made a couple tassels.

Thank you for stopping by.  I have enjoyed being here.
I hope I have given you some new ideas for ways of using your Trendy Bakers Twine.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ You're Wonderful

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties sharing this card with matching envelope with you today.
The card features Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  I wrapped the Cotton Candy Trendy Twine around the scallops on the front die cut panel and then tied a double bow underneath that.  I added Cotton Candy Sequins in all four corners of the card.  I love that those sequins match the twine perfectly!  The papers I used are from DCWV's Peri & Peach stack.
Next up, I made a coordinating envelope!
I stamped a sentiment from the APB You've Got Mail stamp set on the back flap and also glued on arrows punched from the left over patterned paper I used on the card.  I am sure this set will bring a smile to someone's face!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Spring Treat Packet

Hello all and happy Tuesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties sharing this spring treat packet with you today.
I started with a Sky Treat Packet and used a flower die to cut out an area on the front.  Once I added the candy (the zip top bag is included with the packets!), I decorated the front flap of the treat packet with Cotton Candy Trendy Twine,  Cotton Candy Sequins, and a Petite Kraft Tag.  I stamped a sentiment from the APB Choose Happy stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto the tag.
Here is a closer peek of the cut out area and the yummy treats inside!  I added a few more Cotton Candy Sequins at the bottom of the treat packet.

Trendy Bakers Twine Sweet Baby Girl ~ GDT Cyndy G

Hello crafty friends - Cyndy from Cyndy G Time Made for Me.  Today I am sharing a project using two of the featured products this month:  Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine and the Candy Cubes - 2" x 2" Square Clear Boxes.

Beautiful baby card with clear blocks filled with candy

I made a card using the Scrap Panel card from Snapdragon Snippets and paper by Maja Designs - Vintage Baby.  The color of the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine matches perfectly.  I love how delicate the twine looks with the card.

Baby card

For the blocks I used the Candy Cubes - 2" x 2" Square Clear Boxes and transformed them into baby blocks using the Alpha Blocks cutting file from SVG Attic glued to the front of the cube. Then I added a little bow of Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine.  This would be such a cute favor box at a baby shower and they are so easy to make!  I filled the boxes with pink and silver wrapped candy kisses.

Hello Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a quick treat using the spotlight color  Cotton Candy Trendy Twine and a few other fun APB products!

What a great color for spring! Spring finally arrived for us, it's been sunny and actually warm! I love it! I was in the mood to make flowers. I started with a die cut tag and cut a flower using my cricut.

For the middle of the flower I adhered a Trendy Page Dot to the center and topped it off with a Raspberry Cupcake Sequins I attached the flower to my tag and stamped the sentiment to the side.
Lastly, I attached the tag to this adorable  2x2 Candy Cube filled with yummy pink and blue gumballs.

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Sending Smiles

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have some cute little treats to show you today.  We are featuring Cotton Candy Trendy Twine and the 2x2 Candy Cubes. I love these little cubes and use them a lot.

I filled my 2x2 Candy Cube with some pink and blue Hershey Kisses to go along with my Trendy Twine.  Then I took a small strip of pink and white polka dot paper around the outside.  Next I wrapped my Cotton Candy Trendy Twine around the other side of the box.

I took a Pink Tag-It and a White Tag-It and cut them down a bit to fit on the box without hanging over and then just rounded the corners that I cut. The stamp is from the You've Got Mail Stamp Set and I added some pink sequins from the Raspberry Cupcake Sequin Mix and some blue from the Blue Berry Sequin Mix. I also used a Sky Blue and White Polka Dot Trendy Page Dot on the Tag-Its.

Keep checking back all month long for fun projects!  And don't forget there's a great treat packaging bundle deal each month.  Here is the April Treat Packaging Bundle.

Trendy Bakers Twine - These Boots Were Made for Walkin - GDT Cyndy G

Hello crafty friends - Cyndy from Cyndy G - Time Made for Me.  I am excited to be with you for the  month of April as a Guest Designer with Trendy Twine!

This month we are featuring Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.

3d paper cowboy boot with a pink and blue twine fringe around the bottom half of boot

I decided to make the cowboy boot from Snapdragon Snippet because the fringe detail was a perfect place to use the Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  To make the fringe I used double-sided tape along the top edge of the detail piece and looped the twine up and down across the entire length making sure to apply pressure so the twine would stay stuck in place.  Then I took a pair of scissors and clipped the bottom loops and attached the fringe to the boot.

The paper is Carta Bella - Giddy Up Girl - it matches the Cotton Candy Trendy Twine perfectly.

Besides the wide array of colors I love the quality of  Trendy Twine.
It stays twisted even after you cut it.
