Trendy Twine - Winter Cheer

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a Winter Cheer card showcasing Holly Trendy Twine.

This card was a bit of copy of another card I recently made because I wanted to try a marble technique on the glitter tape - a bit of a Fail... Oh well I tried and that's why I'm still sharing it because I still thought it was pretty.

I used washi tape and applied a marble technique to the green tape and the snowflake. For some reason the marbling didn't adhere to the top or bottom of the tape and it was very spotty.  I love the idea and will try it again.  I used  Holly Trendy Twine and a great big Winter Cheer stamp.

Wishing you all a very happy & healthy New Year!

Planner Friday - December

Oh my gosh!  I can't believe how quickly December has flown by!  I have been trying to squeeze every last drop of festive fun out of the month and I still feel like it has passed me by!

Planning my week - before the ink

Products used:  Paper clips

For my last Planner Friday post of the year I want to show you how I have decorated this weeks spread.  I have a lot of things I still need to do before the big day so I thought making the pages pretty would help me keep calm and not panic too much!

I used washi tape at the top and bottom of my pages and then matched that with some lovely Christmas Trendy Page Dot reinforcements.  As well as looking nice and colourful the Trendy Page Dots protect my pages from tearing if I am leafing through them too quickly.  I think everyone who uses a ringed planner knows the pain of ripping a page so these are fantastic!

I love using APB's Christmas stamps in my planner, there are so many different quotes to choose from it is easy to find something that fits perfectly!  I have also been using them to embellish my Christmas card envelopes and gift tags this year so they are practical as well as fun.

For my to do lists and reminders I used the Check It OffAt Home and More At Home sets and as it is the last week of school I have quite a few events to attend so the School Days set covered those for me.  Seeing so many notes and tasks in my planner usually makes me feel stressed but all the decoration just makes me smile and even more determined to get everything finished so I can enjoy the holiday!

My week so far

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year, I'll see you again in 2018!

Trendy Twine -- Merry & Bright

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations. Can you believe that Christmas is in four days?  I'm not ready LOL!

Today I made a quick Christmas Card.  I used Berry Trendy Twine, the Merry & Bright stamp set and some Candy Cane sequins.

This card went together pretty quickly.  I die cut the oval and the image is a print then cut from my Cricut.  I glued my Berry Trendy Twine around the oval and tied a pretty bow for the top.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set at the top in red, pop dotted my penguin on the card and added some Candy Cane sequins.

I hope you have a fabulous day!  Be sure to keep checking back for more great projects :)

Trendy Twine ~ Christmas Cookie Box

Hello all and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you, and today I am sharing this cute cookie box I decorated.  These would be so much fun to give for Christmas!
I started out by stamping stars on the Kraft window box using Chalk White VersaMark ink.  After that was dry, I formed the box and added the monster cookie.  The tag was created by stamping and heat embossing a sentiment from APB Merry & Bright stamps onto a Cranberry Tag-It.  I layered that with a Green Gingham Tag-It, added holly leaves, Frosted Cranberry sequins, a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot, and snow marker details.  The finishing touch was wrapping the box with Berry Trendy Twine.
Here is a look at the box without the tag, so you can see what the clear window looks like.  The cookie I placed inside was a bit smaller side, measuring approximately 2.5".  It fit perfectly!
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine - Be Merry

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I have a Christmas card to share. The inspiration for my card was the adorable shaker ornament created from the Cottage Cutz Nested Ornament Ball dies.  I created 2 ornaments so I could use one as a gift tag.  To create the ornament shaker,  I used 2 different sized dies to cut out the ornament frame.  I filled my ornament with some Peppermint Stick sequins.  The sequins were also adhered to the front of my card.
I used some Holly Trendy Twine as an embellishment on my ornament and on the edge of the card. A tiny Glue Dot was added to the back of the ornament to secure it on my card.  The sentiment is from the APB Merry & Bright stamp set.
The products used on my project are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Trendy Twine - Guest Designer, Christi Steinbeck

Ten more days till Christmas!  (But, who is counting, right?)  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility with my last Guest Designer post for December.  I always love when Lesley and the gang here at Trendy Twine grace me with this honor!  Who can't resist Trendy Twine's Bakers Twine????  I know it is on the top of my Christmas list!

For my last project I want to share with you another Christmas card I made for a special friend.

I found something similar in a magazine, like my last post, but of course had to make this mine.

I started off with a white base folding it in half and putting a red Piece of AC Card stock on top of this.  I then pulled out my DCWV stack, Winter Solstice for the pattern snow flakes.  I Glued all three down together .

I brought out my Nested, Stitched Circles from Pink and Main and laid them in the middle of the front of the card.  (making sure to not have the back of my card in the way.)  And ran it through my Big Shot to cut out the 3 inch circle.

Taking a 3 inch die and a 4 inch die I then cut out the frame to go around the circle, and set it aside for later.

Cutting 5 , 3 1/2 inch pieces of Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine, I proceeded to lay ATG Tape around the circle edge then stretching the twine from one side to the other.  Keeping the twine at the top of the circle close together and spread out at the bottom.
When the Twine was laid out I put the ATG tape over the top of the twine edges around the circle edges again to now lay the frame I cut out earlier.  I proceeded to put Glitter Glue around the frame and set aside to dry.
I cut out a 1 1/2 in circle and a shadow for my sentiment and picked out a sentiment from a stamp set I had in my stash.  Once my glitter glue was dry I glued my sentiment on at the bottom of my circle and made a bow out of my Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine and draped it down the sides of my circle.  To finish it off, I added clear snowflakes and added red and blue bling to the centers to match my twine.

Here is what I used from Trendy Twine:

I hope you all have a VERY Merry Christmas and a VERY Happy New Year!

Blessings,

These candy cubes are just way too CUTE! They are tiny but great for candy or tiny treats!

I wanted to keep my boxes clear because I color coordinated the candy for my project - HAHA I simply wrapped each box with  Holly Trendy Twine. and topped them off with some snowmen.

I also added a little bit of  Holly Trendy Twine to the scarves :)

Trendy Twine -- Merry Christmas Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations .  I cannot believe it's almost Christmas!  I have so much still to do.

Today, I have a project using the Mini Candy Cubes, Berry Trendy Twine, the Merry Christmas Stamp set, and some sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley.

I added red and green M&M's to my Mini Candy Cubes.  Then, I cut out this label using a die and stamped the Christmas Blessings sentiment from the Merry Christmas Stamp set.

I punched a hole at the top and threaded my Berry Trendy Twine through it and around the box and tied it off with a bow. Then I just added a few sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley to the tag.  I love the tree sequins in the mix!

This is a super fast and easy project and would be perfect to add by the place settings for Christmas dinner.

Keep checking back all month long for more fun Christmas/Winter projects!
