Planner Friday - October

Hello!  I'm Amanda from She's Eclectic and I am a self confessed planner gal.  I live for lists, I get over excited by organisers and I am persistently punctual!  I use my planner to organise my life and I fill it with to do lists, reminders, plans and ideas and this usually keeps everything ticking along nicely.... but sometimes things just go wrong!

Photo of my week

Last week is a perfect example.  I had everything in my planner, I knew what I needed to do, where I needed to be and when I needed to be there but the universe had other ideas!  First of all the dental appointment I had been worrying about was rescheduled at the last minute (I was just setting off when I got the call!) and then my internet connection disappeared for 48 hours leaving me constantly checking my mobile for updates on the repair work and crossing my fingers that my data allowance would see me through until my broadband was back.  It's not that I'm addicted to being online, no scratch that, I totally am but it also messed up my blogging schedule! So overall it wasn't a fun week but at least I could release some of my angst with a few of my APB stamp sets.

Used but not pictured: Trendy Page Dots

I hate leaving things on my to do lists unchecked but using stamps from the Screaming InternallyNo Adulting and Not Happening sets meant I could leave myself little snarky notes about my days or why I hadn't completed things.  When I look back as these pages now I won't be annoyed that things got away from me I will probably have a giggle instead.

I used the Chin up stamp from my Choose Happy set on Sunday to remind me not to take my negativity through with me to a new week and to give myself a clean slate.  I also spent some time binge watching Netflix which was a great way to wind down after my blah week!

If you want to add some sassy stamps to your collection pop over to the store now and see what takes your fancy!

See you again next month for my Christmas themed post!

Trendy Twine - Boo!

Hello Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly at My Paper Love sharing a quick and fun altered Halloween project.  I found some adorable but rather plain Halloween lights at the Dollar Tree.  I bought them and knew I could fix them up with my Trendy goodies to make them look even cuter :)

I very simply wrapped the handles with Orange Licorice trendy twine.

Next I added cute White metal rim tags which I colored orange using a copic marker.

Lastly I added a tiny orange licorice bow.

and here they are all lit up :)

Trendy Twine ~ Halloween Lantern

Happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today, and I am super excited to share this Halloween lantern with you.
The whole color scheme for this lantern was based off of the Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine I knew that I was going to use.  The file for the lantern is from SVG Attic's SDS Glowing Halloween set.
I wrapped the Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine around the top of the lantern and added a Black Licorice Tag-It that I had decorated.  The sentiment is from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set.  I used Versamark ink and white embossing powder to make it really POP off of that black!  The embellishments include a Lime Orangesicle Trendy Page DotAutumn Sequins and a bow of Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine.
Here is how it looks all lit up in the dark!  Spooky fun for sure!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine - Happy Halloween

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I have a Halloween card to share.  The shaker part of my card was cut with a die and trimmed to the 3 piece frame.  I simply adhered the letters and sequins to create the shaker.  I used a couple of punches from my stash for the grass and fence at the bottom of my card.
The Batty Sequins were adhered to the base of my card.  I stamped a sentiment from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set.  My card was finished off with some Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up some goodies for those Halloween projects. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- Batty For You

Hello everyone! I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  It's finally a bit cooler here in Georgia and it's almost Halloween!  What a fun time of year.

Today, I made a shaker card using my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine along with the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins and the Happy Halloween Stamp set

I used a circle die to cut out the center of my pattern paper and my Cricut to cut out the black back circle.  That cut is for pumpkin carving but it's perfect for a cover for the shaker card 😃

I glued my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine around the outside of the circle, added a bow and sparkled up the bats.  Then I found a small tag die to stamp my sentiment on from Happy Halloween.  I used the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins for my shaker mix along with some small and bigger glitter to match the sequins.  And I added two bats to the front label which I did use small pop dots on.

You still have time to shop for Halloween goodies at the store. Be sure to stop by and shop!

Trendy Twine ~ Owl Treat Bags

Happy Monday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today sharing these fun fall themed treat bags.
I started with Short Candy Bags and filled them with a yummy treat mix (pretzels, peanuts, candy corn and M&M's).  I decided to decorate them with owl die cuts from SVG Attic's Give A Hoot collection.  For the girl owl, I added a bow of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine on her head.
For the boy owl, I made a bow tie out of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  I stamped sentiments from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set onto banners and adhered them to the bag with Glue Dots so it looked like the owl was perched on the sentiment.  I added Autumn Sequins to the sentiment banners and then wrapped and tied Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the treat bag.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Hi There Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing some Halloween Treats showcasing some spotlight products this month. I found some fun Halloween themed bubbles and wanted to give them out as gifts for the younger kids in the neighborhood.
These bubbles fit perfectly in the  Large Treat Sack filled with candy. I lined the bags with Halloween themed paper to make them a bit more sturdy for the bubbles and candy.

I added some gorgeous Orange Licorice trendy twine

And lastly I stamped the die cut tags with sentiments from Happy Halloween Stamp Set

All of these fun products are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique. Thanks so much for stopping by!
