Trendy Twine - Cupcake Card

Hi There Trendy Fans!

It's Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a cupcake birthday card using our spotlight color  Bubblegum Taffy. I am just loving all the gorgeous projects this month. I used our fun theme Sweet Treats.

I found this cute paper with flag banners on it and thought it would be cute to line some of the banners with the Bubblegum Taffy twine. I die cut a circle and inked it up and then added a little paint platters.

I originally wanted to make a "Hi" card for a friend, but I thought these colors were better suited for a birthday card. They always remind me of a party :)

Hope you stop by the blog and have a look at all the FUN!

Trendy Twine -- Have a Happy Day!

Hello all!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I hope you are enjoying the posts this month.  I just love the Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine we have been using!

I've made a quick card to show you today. First, I picked out this candy jar cut from my Cricut Design Space.  I knew I wanted to use something pink or blue to go with my Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.  This is a print them cut and I was excite to see that it had layers that you could cut too.  So I let it print and cut the three big candy pieces that I pop doted on for some dimension.

Next, I cut out the oval shape and glued my twine around. I like to to that to make the twine really part of the card.  I stamped the sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set that you can find in the store.  The I pop dotted my candy jar onto it.  The sequins came from two mixes -- Frosty Sequins and Raspberry Cupcake Sequins. If you don't have the colors you need in one, it doesn't hurt to use two :)

And there you have a quick and simple card!

Planner Friday - July

Hello!  Welcome to Planner Friday!  I know for some of you the summer holidays began a while ago but here in the UK the schools don't finish until this afternoon and I really can't wait!  I wanted to do a tropical theme in my planner to celebrate the start of lazy days and endless sunshine (fingers crossed!) so let me show you what I used and how it turned out.

Products used:

Used but not pictured:

As always I started out with some washi tape and Trendy page dots to give my pages a splash of colour and then got out my collection of planner stamps to fill in my to do lists and reminders.

My Planner Friday to do list

I also made myself a little Planner Friday card to keep track of what I needed to do for today's post and added a bit of Trendy bakers twine just because it's such a pretty colour!

My week so far

I am documenting my week using one of the newer stamp sets from Annie's Paper Boutique, they are so funny and give me a giggle when I am selecting which one sums up My day.  Some of my favourites from this set are "Didn't slap anyone", "Kept the kids alive" and "Overindulged in planner supplies" which is particularly apt for me!  I am using a different colour ink for these stamps so it is easy to see straight away what kind of week I have been having and I love the combination of pinks and greens together.

If you are feeling the urge to overindulge in planner supplies too then stop by the store now and see what takes your fancy!  Go on, treat yourself!

See you again next month!

Trendy Twine ~ Hello Sweetie Treat Bag

Happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you and I am sharing this sweet treat bag today.
I decorated the Kraft Tin Tie Bag with papers from DCWV's Sweet Stack and the sheer ribbon from the Pretty In Pink Ribbon Set.  Then I adhered oval die cuts of that yummy cake to the center of the bag and finished that off with a bow of Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.
I added a Kraft Tag-Its to the bag that was stamped with images from the APB Foodies stamp set and a sentiment from the APB You & Me stamp set.  I also added a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot to the tag and finished it off with a tassel of Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine, a pink pom-pom trim from the Pretty In Pink Ribbon Set and some white gel pen doodling.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine - Happy Birthday

Hello!  This is Sukie and I have a treat project to share featuring Bubblegum Taffy twine.  The twist of aqua, white and pink is so fun and festive.  It was the perfect accent for a couple of birthday treats I created.
My project started with a striped popcorn container which was layered with a fun shaped tag.  I simply added a sentiment from the APB Smile stamp set.  I used the same stamp set for the sentiment on the Pink Tag-Its.  The tag was embellished with a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot.
Next, I adhered the tag to the candy bag with some Pretty in Pink Ribbon and twine.  A small die cut flower was added to the front of the treat container. The finishing touch was several enamel dots.
All of these crafty goodies are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique!

I have a Bubblegum Taffy Mini to giveaway on my blog, all of the details are here.

Trendy Twine ~ Sweet Treats Shaker Tag

Happy Thursday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today to share this shaker tag.
I started out by die cutting the tag shape from DCWV Peri & Peach stack papers using an unbranded tag die from eBay.  I stamped the words on the background paper and then stamped images from the APB Foodies stamp set and fussy cut them.  Most of those were added into the shaker, but I adhered the cupcake to the front corner.  I then added Frosty Sequins and sealed up the shaker part with foam tape.
The Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot was a fun touch around the hole of the tag.  I added Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine along the sides of the shaker tag and as a tassel at the top.  I finished it off with a bow of Totally White Trendy Twine around the tassel.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine -- Hello Sweetie!

Hello everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  I am loving the twine this month -- Bubblegum Taffy!  It's so pretty :)

I started with a small white bag.  Since I wanted to stamp and color a bit at the bottom, I slid a piece of white cardstock in the back before doing that.  The stamps are from the Foodies stamp set.  I picked out the candy bar stamp since I put some of the small Hershey's Bars in the bag.

Next I folded over the top to back and punched two holes and added some Pink Polka Dot Trendy Page Dots to the bag. Then I thread my Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine through and tied a bow.  To finish it off, I stamped the Hello sweetie from the You & Me Planner set and another candy stamp to a Pink Tag It.  I added another Pink Polka Dot Trendy Page Dot, some blue sequins from the Frosty Sequin Mix, and a bit more Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.  I just taped it to the front.

This makes a cute and quick gift for someone sweet!
