Design Team Call for Trendy Twine's Little Sisters

Trendy Twine by Annie's Paper Boutique is a beautiful craft twine that is quite different from some of the others that are currently on the market. A lot of our twines are twisted with three colors; and there are many that are two colors (with no white); and we even have a four color Disney inspired one, too... definitely nothing plain about our twine.   It's so vibrant and colorful. We have 74 color combinations in our line, with two more on the way.

We are currently looking for a few Little Sisters to join our team to help promote our wonderful product.  This is a three month term: August 1 to October 31 term.  Deadline to apply is Sunday, June 22nd.  All entries must be received by 11:59 pm, central time on this day.  (We just recently extended the call, since the 15th is Father's Day.)  We will make our announcement via our Facebook page by mid-July.

Basic information about the submissions:

Create three projects using Trendy Twine (no other twine, please) that best feature your style:

·         A 3D project (something not flat)

·         Packaging (either gift or treat)

·         Your choice

Be as creative as you can with your twine – really spotlight it.  These three projects are to be made specifically for this Design Team call and cannot be posted on your blog or any other website until after we make our announcement.

Other info:

      ·         Blog must be active for a minimum of 6 months; and you must be an active blogger.

·         Cannot be on any conflicting Design Teams.

·         Must be able to commit to a 3 month term.

·         Must be able to take nice photographs for blog posts

·         Restrictions:  (1) No resellers of any kind.  If you have your own stamp line, SVG line, etc, or if you make and sell your handmade cards, etc - none of those count as a reseller.  (2) No other twine design teams within the last twelve months.

Responsibilities:

·         Two posts a month.  Posting days are on Saturday and Sunday.  One project will be your choice and the other will be packaging of some kind.  No double posting.

·         Keep your blog up to date and link projects to Trendy Twine/Annie's Paper Boutique.

·         Post and share on your Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. Promote products, sales, promos, etc as much as possible.

Being a part of the Trendy Twine DT, will give you a chance to share your creativity and inspire others.  Also, you will receive some of our fabulous twine. Each member will receive a full spool of the color that is being featured each month for the 3 month term. For any additional colors, you may buy them at a discounted price.

We are looking forward to having some new members on our team; as well as, getting to see all of the beautiful projects that you create. We are so honored that you want to work with us.  Please email your projects to Annies_Paper_Boutique@yahoo.com and put "DT Call" in the subject line. Trendy Magnetic Bookmark

Happy Thursday, Trendy Twine friends! It's Jessi from Kissin' Krafts and I have fun project today!

Who loves to read? And who is always looking for a bookmark? (I don't fold the corners, because most come from the library.) So when I saw the idea of a magnetic bookmark, I had to give it a try!

Feel free to hop on over to my blog for more details on this project.

Trendy Twine is spotlighting all their SOLID twines this month, so there is still time to get the solids at the sale price. Check out the Trendy Twine store to see the color selections!
(Psst... I used Totally Grape on this project!)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Flower Vase with Trendy Twine

Hi there Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a home decor project!  I recently bought a Hydrangea plant and it just loves my front yard :) I have lots of flowers on it and I LOVE cutting them and filling my house with pretty flowers.  I just love the look of a single flower in a vase. Problem was I didn't have any small vases. To the dollar store I went.  I couldn't find vases but I did find some candle holders.... Just plain glass. My decor is simple but I just had to pretty these up.  What better than with some fabulous Trendy Twine!

Pretty simple project...Just wrap the vase! I used Totally Natural Trendy Twine I think this might be my favorite!! It's AWESOME!

The flower is a little tricky. I tried about 4 tutorials and finally I just made loops and glued the ends to each other in the center.

I used a button to cover up my not so perfect middle :)

Added my new flowers, isn't this pink GORGEOUS! No editing on this photo - That's the REAL color!
The twine is so perfect for this project! I'm going to make 5 more and line them up down the center of our table when we have summer BBQ's. Then in the evening I can remove the flowers and add candles :)

Hope you enjoyed my project, and don't forget to hop over to the store and check out the newest release HERE

Don't forget all the Solid Trendy Twine colors are on *Sale* this month for $7.95

Thank You!

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap wishing you all a very Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

I have a very special card to share today, made in honor of all the men and woman both past and present who fight for our country!

For my card I used the Totally White Trendy Twine (a MUST have in my opinion) and I showed you how by coloring 2 of the strands using my copic markers you can have any color twine to match your card perfectly!
Here is my card, I hope you like it....
I kept my card CAS to show you how twine can be used as a focal point as well as an embellishment for your projects. The image I used is a stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps that I colored using my copic markers. I did add some clear Wink of Stella to the white parts of the image, but unfortunately the picture doesn't show the sparkle.

Here is a closeup of my twine. I used 3 strands of the Totally White and then using my red copic and my blue copic markers, I colored the other strands. A perfect match to my image. After wrapping the strands around my white card stock mat and tying it in a bow, the mat was ready to be mounted onto my black card base. Once the bow was fluffed and situated exactly how I wanted it, I tied off the ends on a knot and trimmed the excess off.

Here are all the solid twine colors that are on sale this month! Check out the monthly spotlight section in the Trendy Twine store.

For My Friend

Hi everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a quick little bag to show you.  Everything you see in the picture, except the stamp and ink, you can buy from Annie's Paper Boutique :)

We are highlighting the Solid Trendy Twine Colors this month and today I used Totally Grape.  I really do love all the solids, but let's face it, I love all Trendy Twine!

Here's everything I used:

I ran the lunch bag through my Cuttlebug.  It really only looks good on one side.  Then I took a sponge and lightly inked up the embossing.  I laced the twine through twice and tied the bow.

We really do hope you join in the challenge this month.  You have 1 more day to enter :)

Have a great day!

Congrats! Trendy Style

Happy Monday, Trendy Twine fans! It's Jessi here from Kissin' Krafts! Today I am sharing my project that goes along with this month's Trendy Twine Challenge, Say It With a Sentiment. Check out the details HERE and we cannot wait to see your project!

The month of May starts the graduation season! I made this card for my niece that recently graduated from college.

I really wanted the sentiment to pop, so I stamped and hand cut the sentiment on white cardstock.  The simple wrapped Totally Black twine adds some texture to the white space on the card.

If you haven't heard yet, all the solid twines are on sale this month! Check out the monthly spotlight section in the Trendy Twine store.

Have a wonderful day!

I love Trendy Twine!

Pinch me!  I'm so excited to  be a Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!
EEK!  I love their twine and I have a bin full of their colors to prove it.  Let me
tell you a little story.  As much as I love their product, I also love their customer
service.  I placed an order several weeks ago and got an email from them wondering if
I really wanted one of the spools of twine since I had purchased that same color about
two weeks prior.  I was so amazed.  Just think how busy they are and they are looking
out for me because I can't remember whatI'd ordered!  LOL!  Love that!

Well anyway - here's my card:

I am in LOVE with these little "twine" butterflies!

Trendy Twines used:

This was a fun card to make.  I used some My Creative Time dies and stamps to
complete my card!  I did a quick video for you too because I fell in love with making
the clouds paper!  You've got to see this video!

Thank you to Trendy Twine for letting me share!  I hope I inspired you
to get out your favorite color of twine and wrap up a gorgeous gift,
make a card creation or whip out an incredible layout!

Have a Super Birthday

Hi everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today, I have a super birthday card and a few treats for my daughter--it's her 15th birthday today.  I used Totally Sky and Totally Blue Trendy Twine on my projects today.

She loves all the Marvel super heroes and all the movies and picked out a Captain America Tervis hot/cold cup for her birthday.  So I decided I would make a Captain America card for her.

s

I used Totally Blue Trendy Twine on my card and Totally Sky Trendy Twine on the treat containers.  All the solid colored twines are so fun--and on sale this month :)

My daughter was just talking about how she loves the mini M & M's in the tubes.  Well, I couldn't find the tube in the store, so I picked up a whole bag of candy.  I filled the one tube I had left (I think the store is out of them right now) and then grabbed a Skinny Candy Chute to give her a bit more.  There's still more candy left which means I get to each some too :)

Be sure to check out the the twine specials this month. And don't miss out on our fabulous We Like You a Latte blog hop on Sunday--we are going to have a ton of fun!  Oh, and don't forget to join the challenge this month--we love to see your creations!

Have a great day!!

Celebrate

Happy Monday!  This is Sukie with a new project.  This month we are showcasing our solid twines. My project features Totally Blue which is one of my favorite solid color twines.  For my project, I created a cute little purse cut from the Forever Young cartridge.  It is the perfect size to to tuck in a gift card or some treats.
My purse was embellished with a twine flower created with loops of twine.  I accented the twine flower with a couple of paper flowers and a bling center.  A small twine bow was added to the purse handle.  I love the way the blue twine pops against the floral purse.  I tucked in a sentiment on a hand cut flag from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set.
Come join our fun new challenge going on this month.  Also, don't forget to check out the store for lots of crafty products.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hugs!!!!!

Good Morning my bloggie friends!!

It's Migdalia, from Crafting with Creative M, and it's my day to post.

With "Mother's Day" just around the corner I made a card for my neighbor.
I came across the flower with frame file from Birds cards, which I then added some texture
by using the birds & swirls embossing folder. I then decided to add foam tape & sequins
just make it a mini shaker frame. Super cute, right?
I duplicated the flower so that I can add a 3-D pop dot to give my flower a dimensional
look, which I then added a yellow glittered dot on the center.
To complete my card, I made a lovely bow with white ribbon & "Totally Limeade"
Trendy Twine....which I LOVE! I added a tag that I made with my favorite cartridge
"When I was a Kid" and stamped the lovely sentiment  "Hugs" from "Simply Said" stamp set.

Here is a picture of one of my favorite Trendy Twine colors.....
