Christmas Gift Giving Ideas

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap with 2 more Christmas gift giving ideas using the

For my first project I used a Cotton Bag and came up with this...
So cute right?
I used the adorable Unity Stamp~ You Melt My Heart and stamped it onto my cotton bag using Stazon Black Ink. Then using some Candy Cane Trendy Twine and a needle, I sewed the twine into the heart and on the scarf in a very simple up and down pattern. After coloring the hat using my copic markers, I added some Christmas/Xmas red Stickles as well as some Orange Peel Stickles to his nose. I pulled out the string that comes with the Cotton Bag and threaded more of the Candy Cane Trendy Twine through the opening and tied knots to the ends of each side. To finish up my project, I added a cute die cut tag and filled the bag with some chocolate nuggets.

For my next project, I had to make some more Candy Sticks using the Skinny Candy Bags. These are perfect for handing out and I ended up making 25 of these for my son's class :)
I filled each of the Skinny Candy Bags with some red and green M&M's and sealed them shut, making sure to leave about an inch or so clear on the top. Then using my Cameo and a file I picked up in the Silhouette Store, I cut all the pieces for my reindeer toppers. I stamped his eyes using a Peachy Keen Stamps set, added some white gel pen doodles and made his nose sparkly with some Christmas/Xmas Red Stickles. To attach the tags to the bags, I tied some Candy Cane Trendy Twine around the tops of the bags (leaving some of the clear bag top to show) and then tied the tags in a bow on top.

I hope you  have enjoyed my projects and will give some of these gifts a try!

Trendy Candy Cane Tree

Hello, Trendy Twiners! It's Jessi from Kissin' Krafts. Are you in the festive mood? I am loving the holiday projects that have been on the blog! Today I am using the fun Candy Cane Twine and sequins from a few different mixes.

Using a triangle die cut, the tree is formed layering three die cuts. The tree is decorated with the Candy Cane twine wrapped around the tree. The sequins really brighten up the tree.

Tis the Season to Sparkle!

Hi everyone!  I'm Helen from HTB Creations.  Today I have a quick and simple Christmas card for you.

I used the fabulous Candy Cane Trendy Twine on my card today.  I just love all the Christmas Trendy Twine colors--they are so fun! Originally, I was going to pop dot the top star too, but it was a bit thick.  So I just pop doted the one white star.

It's been raining for over a week here so the pictures are not as good as I would like.  I am really, really ready for some sunshine :)

Now, be sure to visit the STORE to see what fun Trendy Twine you must have for Christmas.  And then you should join the Twine It Up! Facebook Group--there are lots of fun things going on over there!  Finally, there is a challenge going on!  Please join in--we really love to see everyone's creations and you know you need to wrap some gifts anyway.  Just be sure to use some Trendy Twine :)

Have a fabulous day!!

Joy Layout

Happy Monday!  It's Sukie here today and I have a holiday layout to share featuring Candy Cane Trendy Twine.
The title was cut from the Don Juan cartridge and the snowflakes from Wrap It Up, Winter Woodland and Spellbinders.  The snowflakes with the green background came from my stash.
The square tag also came from my stash and was embellished with a couple of hand cut flags.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set.  I paper clipped the sentiment flag to the tag and added some twine to the paper clip.
More twine was added to each of the photo mats for a finishing touch.  The Candy Cane twine coordinated perfectly with my striped paper.
Please visit the store to check out all of the holiday colored twine.  Remember to join in our "Wrap It Up Challenge" going on this month.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Guest Designer- Kathy Jo Wood, Day 2

Happy Saturday!

It's Kathy Jo again from I'm a Little Teapot Guest Designing for the "Home of Trendy Twine".  Thanks so much Annie's Paper Boutique for asking me to design projects using Trendy Twine!  It has been a fun experience and an honor to be a guest designer!

I have a few projects to share today using various Trendy Twine.  The first uses the happy Orangesicle twine.

What a great thank you gift set to make for the crafter on your gift list: a homemade card using Trendy Twine and spool of Trendy Twine- for the receiver to use on their craft projects.  The jar can be blinged up with twine, too.  And don't forget the hole on top of the jar for twine to spool out. :)

Next is a storage method I am using for my twine (and can also serve as an alternate gift bin if you do not want to use a jar).  I really like the ease of storing the twine on the die cut bobbins in an open bin.  It keeps my twine organized and I can pick out twine easily.  It looks great on my desk, too!

Trendy Twine Totally Kraft was used on the "You Amaze Me" card shown below.  The twine was used in four locations: as the bow, on the pink velvet ribbon, looped under my die cut sentiment and woven into the holes on the oval die cut.
My last project to share is probably one of the fastest cards I have made.  It was a last minute card for a New England Patriots fan and I had no idea how I would incorporate the love for his team onto a card!  I looked in my Trendy Twine bin and saw Berries Jubilee...perfect!

It was a blast playing in the craft room and making these projects.  Feel free to stop by my blog tomorrow- I will post a list of each project shown the past two days with all the product used.

Thanks so much for stopping by Trendy Twine.  :)
Hugs,

Guest Designer- Kathy Jo Wood

Hello Crafteteers!

It's Kathy Jo from I'm a Little Teapot and I am honored to be a guest designer today and tomorrow at Trendy Twine!

My first twine project used the festive Holly Berry twine...perfect for this year's Christmas cards!  I wanted to have the twine emphasized and not lost on my vintage looking papers so I applied a triple-loop twine bow onto an ivory bow.  On top of the twine bow is an ivory button with Holly Berry threaded into the button holes.

My next card used the luscious Orange Truffle twine.  I really like how the brown just pops against the orange on the twine.  What a great color combo!  For the card, I decided to wrap the Orange Truffle vertically and placed it on top of the ivory paper.  The twine and ivory paper complement each other so well.  (My random crafty thought about this twine: I think my next card using Orange Truffle will be a clean and simple card with a linen ivory paper background.  It would look lovely!)

Sticking with the Truffle twines, I used the Chocolate Truffle twine on another card.  This twine is too cool- it has a dark brown, light brown and white stripe on the twine.  I went festive again with the twine and made a winter themed gatefold card.  The front of the card has two mittens tied together using the Chocolate Truffle.  The Merry Christmas die cut tag also has the Chocolate Truffle wrapped around either end.

It was fun playing and crafting with Trendy Twine!  Tomorrow I will share my last three projects using Trendy Twine.  One of the projects may be a sweet gift you can easily make to give to a favorite crafter friend!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you tomorrow!  :)
Hugs,
Kathy Jo
