I'm so not a crafty person, hence why I have an amazing DT (to hide the fact that I'm not crafty). My DT is always asking me what kind of stuff I make. Me, I'm not creative. That is why I love looking at all the pretty things everyone creates. This week I thought I'd be brave and try to make something. Something easy. I'm more of a tag person than a card person, probably because they are easier for me to make.
So, here we go. Are you ready for this? Well... I'm not sure if I am. But here it is.
Pretty simple, but I was sort of impressed with myself. The flowers were cut from two different sizzix dies. The paper is from my paper hording stash. Yay! I finally used some. The envelope is a kraft sleeve that I inked the edges on. I used some of the new paper tape that is in the store. It has to pink, of course! I'm really loving that tape. So pretty and super easy to use. I will have to buy myself every color. I will be using that A LOT. The button is from the Buttons Galore Sherbert collection. (There are a ton of buttons in that bag). I used Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine, what project would be complete without some yummy twine? The tag is one of the tags that I made from cardstock that I printed pink graph grip lines on then used a sizzix die (a Tim Holtz one) and topped it with a kraft reinforcement. Then I stamped a cute little saying "My World is Brighter Because of You" by Studio G. Gotta love those $1 stamps! Then I tied some pretty Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine to go with all the nice pink and brown.
So who did I send this to? Kim (my Design Team Coordinator) along with some goodies as a little thank you for helping me so much.
I hope you liked my very first crafty project. And some of you can get up off the floor from laughing so hard ;)
Have a great weekend, Trendy twiners!
Hugs, Lesley

Super cute Lesley!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your tag note card! The colors are fun and I like the graph that you added to the tag, plus the twine looks really good too!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? It's great!!! I've never even made a tag (or a layout for that matter) because for some reason going small, or large, both freak me out! I absolutely love that you pull out the little message and OMG that tape, well we know what I need to get soon! I hope you decide to create, and share, more soon!
